"I can tell your not in the mood for talking" sonic said.
Shadow shrugged
"Let's just get you something to drink." Sonic said
Shadow walked over to rouge.
Sonic followed but gave him his space.
Shadow stood next to rouge.
"What would you like, young man?" The bartender asked while making rouge's scotch on the rocks
"A whisky" Shadow said
The bartender nodded and finished rouges drink before his
Shadow waits.
The bartender finished his drink and handed it to him
"Thanks" Shadow said
"You're not taking anything Big Blue?" Rouge asked, noticing he was the only one without a drink. Sonic shook his head. "Not yet. I can't handle alcohol that well."
Shadow looked at him. To him sonic didn't seem like the type of person that would.
"I'm not planning on getting drunk tonight." Sonic said. "No thanks."
"Psk. Lightweight" Shadow said.
"Well sorry Ultimate Lifeform that I can't handle alcohol like you can." Sonic said. "And believe me, you don't want to see me drunk."
"Why not?" Shadow asked and crossed his arms.
"You don't have to know." Sonic answered and turned away from him.
Shadow raised his eyebrow
Sonic held his hand in front of his face to cover the fact that he was blushing
Shadow watched him
Sonic could feel him looking at him. "Do you like staring at me that much?"
Shadow quickly looked away.
Sonic glanced at him. "Can't take a joke right."
Shadow didn't look at him.
Sonic turned to him "Sorry I don't like stares all too much."
Shadow ignores him.
Rouge rolled her eyes, being disappointed that Shadow went quiet again.
Shadow really didn't like that situation.
Rouge placed her hand on his shoulder "you really don't like being here do you?"
Shadow looked at her "no"
Rouge sighed "well... then go home,, I'm sorry I forced you to come"
"No your disappointed. I'll stay but if I feel like it's too much I'll leave" Shadow said
"You don't have to." Rouge said. "I will be fine."
"I'm here now I'll stay but only for you" Shadow said
"Thank you Shadow. You're the best." Rouge said and hugged him.
Shadow patted her back with one hand
Rouge broke the hug after a while. "But go when you want to."
Shadow nodded.
"Hey everyone." Blaze said as she walked in together with Silver and Knuckles
Shadow turned and saw them
"You guys made it!" Amy said happily and went over and hugged Blaze. "Here is your gift." Blaze said and handed her an envelope. Amy opened and read the letting. "A girl weekend! That sounds amazing! Thank you!" She said. "We didn't know what else to give you." Silver said
Shadow drank some of his drink
"You into drinking much?" Sonic asked
Shadow looked at him "You asking me?"
Sonic chuckled and shook his head. "Who else? You're the only one close to me."
Shadow shrugged
"So, you gonna answer my question?" Sonic asked.
" i drink sometimes" Shadow said.
"Of course. I think it's something for you." Sonic said. "It suits with how badass you are." He chuckled
"Badass?" Shadow said
" well yeah" sonic said
Shadow shrugged.
Sonic elbowed his side " come on. You know it's true"
"Don't touch me" shadow scolded.
"Alright alright." Sonic said and moved a bit further away from him
Shadow looked away.
Sonic tilted his head "are you okay?"
Shadow looked at him
"Is that a yes or a no?" Sonic asked
"I'm okay" Shadow said
"If I bother you, say so and I will leave you alone. I don't want to be the reason you left which will disappoint Rouge." Sonic said
Shadow looked away
"Are you sure you're fine?" Sonic asked now sounding more concerned. To him, Shadow wasn't acting like his usual self
"Yeah. Im fine" shadow said
"I will just give you some time for yourself." Sonic said. "I know you don't really want to talk to me."
Shadow didn't say anything back to him.
Sonic went over to the others
Shadow stayed where he were
