We get closer each day.

The statue.

The birds were singing, the grass had fresh dew on it and the statue of Bill Cipher was still in the same place, it was old and had a crack.

Dipper pushes through the over grown grass and weeds as he searches for the statue. He can't seem to find it.

Dipper: I could have swore it was right here... I guess i'm just not looking hard enough. *He sighed as he walked through the trees searching for the petrified Triangle* I think I see something behind the bush.... *He walked over to it* is it.. yes! I finally found it, I guess it was around here after all.. even though it does look slightly cracked.. I guess it has been 4 years since the incident took place.

The statue was still in the same position as it had always been but Dipper got a weird feeling when he saw it.

Dipper: Weird, I almost feel sick while standing here. *He felt drowsy and his vision was blurry* I should get back to the Mystery Shack before Mabel comes looking for me...

As Dipper walked away he felt like he should come back here tomorrow, it was weird but he wanted to do something about the statue. Maybe he should Remove it, yeah that sounds good.

Dipper: *Sees the Mystery Shack through the branches of a large Oak tree* Okay good Mabel is still inside with Grunkle Stan and Ford. I should get going I need to eat Dinner anyways. *As he said that his stomach growled* Well, I wonder what Stan made...

After he left the statue a small bird decided to perch itself on it's extended arm. So many bad memories but at the same time there were great ones. No matter how bad it got they always decided to push through and help others. But that was the past and this is the present, so many things have changed now, Soos got married, Stan and Ford have been sailing more, and Dipper and Mabel have a good life.

How could it get any better?

Hey sorry that this is a short chapter, but it's my first time writing an actual story that others will read and I didn't want too make it that long of an opening. I hope you enjoy it so far, I will make sure to start working on more chapters soon. It's Summer break so i'm out of school and I have time to do this.
