It All Started With A Text

Moments like this are special to me. It's not the music at parties that makes me happy it's the people around me. Times with friends are priceless to me.

I get a bit sleepy halfway through the second episode and I cuddle up to him. I hear Colby exhale as the TV turns off and then feel him change positions and kiss my forehead before I fall asleep.

...

"Awww, look at them." Devyn says quietly. "I know, look at how he's got his arm around her!" Corey whisper yells.

I exhale loudly and look at them. "What, you've never seen people cuddling before?" I ask sarcastically. "Nope." Corey says.

Colby stirs and groans. "What are you guys doing?" Colby asks. "They were watching us sleep." I say rubbing my eyes. "Creeps!" Colby yells.

Devyn and Corey laugh and leave. "Good morning." Colby says in his sexy morning voice. "Good morning" I reply.

We brush our teeth and use the restroom then go downstairs. "You hungry?" Colby asks. "Yeah." "If you want cereal it's in that cupboard." He points at a cupboard.

After eating my cereal I go back home to take a shower and put on some clean clothes. After doing that and some other things I get a text from Colby.

Colby: I'll pick you up for our dat at Tender Greens at 6:30 be ready

Jess: Ok

It's time for my date with Colby and I hear the doorbell ring. I go to the door and open it to see a smiling Colby with a bit bag of peanut m&m's. He hands them to me and I just laugh in surprise.

"How did you know I like these?" He scratches the back of his neck. "I saw it in one of your Instagram captions." I blush and laugh. "Aw, that's so sweet, thank you." I give him a hug and we walk to his car.

In the car he hands me the aux cord and I play Latch by Disclosure and Sam Smith. "Hey, this is actually a good song." He says. "You don't like my other music?" I ask sarcastically, he laughs. "Nope, you have awful taste in music." He says, making me chuckle.

I catch him looking at me through the mirror and he puts his hand on my thigh and starts to rub it making my breath hitch. I'm guessing he noticed because he quietly laughs.

When we get to Tender Greens he opens the door for me and we go in. We sit down and the waitress soon walks over to our table.

"What would you like to drink hun?" She asks putting her hand on Colby's shoulder. He looks really uncomfortable and I feel my face heating up.

"Um, just a water." She looks me up and down and frowns. "And what do you want?" I laugh. "A new waitress." She scoffs. "Excuse me?" I laugh.

"Are you deaf? I said a new waitress. He doesn't want your dirty ass hands on him. You don't do that shit. Especially at work!" I grab Colby's hand and we walk to the front of the restaurant. "I need to speak with the manager." I tell a waitress and the manager comes out.

"Can I help you?" She asks nicely. "Yeah, your waitress right there was putting her hand on my boyfriend and was violating his personal space by putting her dirty hands on him. He was very clearly uncomfortable but she kept her hand on him and proceeded to look me up and down while giving me hostile stare." I say pointing at the waitress that followed us.

"Is that true Danielle?" The manager asks her. "No, it's not. She was the one giving me a hostile stare." Colby scoffs. "Not until you put your filthy hands on me." The girl rolls her eyes. "Whatever." She says.

"Congratulations! You're fired." The waitress walks away. "Your meal is on me today, I'm so sorry about that." We smile and thank her then go back to our seats.

...

Another girl comes to the table and sits our food down. "I can't believe you did that." He says chuckling and shaking his head. "It's what she deserved, maybe she'll know not to do that now."

...

"Would you want to go exploring with me and Sam for YouTube sometime?" I smile. "I would love to." I say happily. "Cool, we're gonna explore a place tomorrow if you want to come I'll pick you up if you wanna." He says. "Ok, just tell me when I need to be ready." He nods and we finish eating.

...

When we get to my place I hear him sigh and we make eye contact. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow." He says giving me a hug. "Ok." I reply.

When we pull away he places his hand on my face and leans in. Our lips connect and I get butterflies in my stomach. I know if I continue kissing him I'll end up wanting more so I break the kiss.

"See ya tomorrow." I say. "See ya."

I go inside and sigh. Today was very eventful.
