Not yet, he would tell her when she would ask to hold it or lift it as a child, after a few years of training you'll be able to lift this with ease. But even if you were able to grab it and lift it, it'd just vanish and reappear back in my hands.

“And now I can hold it.” Laura said to herself as the amulet disappeared and reappeared back in the pocket of her coat.

She hated having to attend the funeral, having that feeling that everyone was staring at her with that pitying look in their eyes. Grandma Barbara was practically clinging to her when they lowered the casket into the ground, as if she was trying to keep herself from throwing herself onto it. No much to anyone's surprise Merlin didn't even attend either funeral held by the humans or the trolls, which Laura was grateful for. The last thing she knew her father wanted was the man who made his life difficult to be there when his family buried him.

"Laura? Can I come in?" a voice asked softly. The young Trollhunter smiled to herself, knowing that she didn't need to turn around to see who was talking to her.

"Sure Agate, I could use the company. It's pretty lonely with just the statues of all these dead guys in here."

Laura waited as familiar and heavy footsteps approach her before something warm and kind of spiky pressed against her back slightly.

"Felt like you needed the company, Flip, Isaac and Steven are busy "trying to look for you" and keeping Merlin from finding you." Agate stated softly.

"Good, I kind of needed some alone time." Laura said with a nod as she scooted forward so Agate's back spikes weren't digging into her back. "And I'm glad he didn't show up to either of the funerals."

"Because my mother locked him up in a storage closet in the museum." Agate laughed and Laura turned to look at him in surprise. "I'm not joking! My father told Merlin there was something in the museum he needed to see and my mother and three of my sisters then locked him in one of the storage closets with that magical tape we used for the "invisible barrier" prank we pulled on him that one summer!"

"By Deya's kneecaps you are all crazy!" Laura laughed and heard Agate chuckle. "How do I know you're not making this up to pull me out of my depressed mood?"

"You know me, I never lie about Merlin." Agate responded and smiled. "Feeling better? I know you wanted to be alone and wallow in your sadness, but mother said that's not healthy for someone your age."

"I'm sorry, it's just that…" Laura picks the amulet out of her pocket and holds it up. "I'm debating about throwing it into the sea where no one but giant squids can find it or throwing it at Merlin's face and tell him something that's bound to get my mouth washed with soap, it's done nothing but bring problems to my family."

"Yeah I get what you mean, but I don't think he'd want you to be... moping?"

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind me being in a depressed mood for a whole day."

"Unless that depressed mood lasts longer than a day." Agate says and rose to his feet before picking Laura up and set her on her feet. "Laura, if you ever need any kind of support, you can always come to me. You are my best friend and there is nothing I wouldn't do for you."

"Except die."

"No I'd do that too."

“You two are being too mushy!” The two looked up to see Steven, Flip, and Isaac enter the forge with Jimmy holding onto Steven’s hand.

“Lala!” The little welp yelled as he ran over to his sister and clung to her skirt. “Uncle Blinky says you’re gonna be like daddy! Is it true?”
