"Oh um..Hi! My name's Jennifer!' I flashed a crooked smile.

"We should talk more someday! Maybe right after you are done unpacking?" Thomas asked earnestly. I smiled,"Why not?" I dashed inside the house, dropping the boxes on the floor and running to the lorry to take more. In 30 minutes,we were done. "Sweetie,i"l let ya explore the area. But please don't go too far and be back before the sun sets alright?" Dad said. "Yeah Alright!"

I ran out of the house. "Hey Thomas!" I yelled. I peered through the small hole in the fence, the only thing i saw was a grinning Thomas blowing dandelions. "Hey buddy!" I yelled through the hole and scared Thomas by surprise.

"Oh jennifer! That was real fast!" Thomas said in shock. "It certainly was."

Thomas unlocked his gate for me to enter and ran up to the door, knocking. "Mummy! Is it alright if my new neighbour comes and play with me?" Thomas asked. "Why not, honey?" a feminine voice replied. "Alright buddy! Welcome to South London! Is this your first time here?" Thomas asked me. I nodded in reply. "Well then let me tell you about!" He handed me a dandelion while talking.

I knew at instant that Thomas and I will hit it off for sure.

We talked about so much-cars, dandelions, stars, colours that we didn't even notice the sun has already set. "Well Tommy I gotta get back now! We should talk more tomorrow!" I smiled as i walked back to my house, waving goodbye at him.

"It was really nice knowing so much about you!" Thomas giggled as he walked back to his house. I grinned to myself. Maybe life here in South London isnt't as bad as I thought.
