Ella P.O.V-
As I sit in my room, which is fairly small, I hear my two step sisters tell out to me. "Weirdella!! Wash the dishes or mother will beat you again!!" Amanda and Evlynn sneered. I really didn't want to get hit again so I complied.
Soon after that, Miss Brea walked out of her room and looked at me washing the dishes. I don't think to turn back, but when I am finished, all I could feel was a SMACK to my head as more dishes were placed down. "Yyuurss forgot demmmm you ungrateful bitch" this was a common sight to see because after my dad died, Miss Brea decided to marry my mom. This was uncommon but not necessarily looked down upon.
After another ten minutes, I am finally done with the dishes and I take a quick shower only to be interrupted by Amanda screeching that it was time for me to go into town for the daily gossip and food. I put on the rags that always seem to fit me, and head out into town.
Chloe's P.O.V-
It is another boring day in the castle. Everybody is afraid of me and teasing the servants gets more boring with each yelp. I'm sitting on my throne then I hear a meek voice talking to me. "M-madam, you need to find your mate. The hormones you're emitting is horrible! We won't be able to work any longer!!"
I guess they were right so I might as well put in an effort to find them. I order the meek servant to call the guards for me. " Guards, get a carriage. I'm going into town. " "Are you sure about this?? you are-" he cares try to oppose my whishes??! Well, I'll let it go this time but that totally ruins my mood. I give them a death stare putting all of my anger into it. "A-as you wish".
That's more like it. A few minutes later, I am riding into town. Maybe my little mate was here. As the carriage rolls into down, both young men and women make a line. I start to look around in case I smell or see them. ( strong alphas can 'see' their mate. It makes a bright red aura circle around them)
As I feel like not being seen, I ask my guards if they brought outfit #6. My commoner outfit. I swiftly change into said outfit and walk out of the carriage. Instead of people flocking me, they let me pass without a second glance. I spot a tiny girl buying bread and a few other things.
Ella P.O.V -
I hate shopping for people. Especially because I am short. It took me five minutes to get the bread. I am heads high in bags as I sense somebody enter the store. It wasn't anything uncommon but I had the feeling that somebody was staring at me. Not trying to take ANY chances, I quickly run back home, trying not to drop the apples in the process.
You may be wondering why I don't fight back for my rights with my step sisters and mom. Well, it's not like I haven't tried, but they are too strong. It is almost like they lift weight for a living meanwhile, the strongest thing I lifted were groceries. I'm not even exaggerating. Nobody knows I scared what goes on on my home.
Well, almost nobody. The baker cares and said he would get me out of that house of it was the last thing he did. "Weirdella!! Polish my shoes and make me a pretty dress!!" Evlynn spat. I make fairly pretty dresses as a way to cope with my loneliness. That's the only extra thing I'm allowed to do.
Chloe's P.O.V -
Fuck Fuck shit!!! I can't believe I let my mate run away from me. I tried to catch up to her but she was too fast. I decided to go back into town. I see the carriage is still there and push my way to the front. People look at me weirdly. I take off the disguise and the people start to swarm. I tell the coach to start riding and they follow my oders. I will to the people, making a few fall unconscious. "Bye lovelies!" They all fall to the ground as I jump in the carriage and ride away to the palace.
I am in such a bad and horny mood right now it is unbearable. this is also the first day so it's going to get worse. I propose that there is a ball held. If course it would take some time, but it would be worth it.
I NEED to see her again or I'll kill somebody. "Okay m-ma'am. The ball will b-be ready in two d-days." Although that is a long time, it will be worth it to see my mate. But that's also the day before the high point of my rut. "Alright then, start preparing. Also get the guards to distribute invitations." I get a nod and just like that the merchant's gone.
Ella P.O.V
Another day in this hell hole, another day at the village and the market. I was about to leave as soon as I hear the guards announcing the ball the princess is having in two days. I seriously don't want to go and I don't ha- " all people of this castle have to attend, even servants! " Well, this is going to be fun.
I quickly attend the home to see the usual. Evlynn is singing (quote badly if I may add) and Amanda is trying on the new dress I made her. Heh, that's ironic. "Evlynn, Amanda, I have news. The princess is hosting a ball in two days." Both of the girls squeal as they frantically move around.
"What about dresses" "and makeup! I can't go ANYWHERE without makeup!" Both Evlynn and Amanda scream. They stop acting like crazy people and slowly turn to me with a creepy stare. " Heyyyyyyyy Ellaaaaaaaa. Why don't you help you dear sisters? " with the biggest puppy eyes they asked. I still love them even if they hurt me.
"Okay, just give me th-" "Oh, yay! Can you make me the prettiest dress? I want to look beautiful!!" Amanda asks. She is bi so she gets the best of both worlds while Evlynn is straight, but if her mate was a girl, she wouldn't mind.
I get started immediately on d both of their dresses so they can be the prettiest girl at the ball. Yuck. I already have a dress made for me as I knew this would happen one day. Evlynn's good colors are orange, yellow, and or pink. Amanda's were blue, green, and or purple.
Haha. I didn't have a good color so I went with a pastel passion fruit red and called it a day. I quickly made Evlynn's dress quickly and started on Amanda's dress was trickier, but nothing I couldn't handle.
By the time I was finished, it was the day of the ball. I did their make up and it was time to go. "You guys are going to do great out there don't you guys worry. I don't want to go, but I have to. I will leave soon though so have a great time"
I put on my dress and ultimately decided to only wear clear lip gloss and keep my natural tint. Their dresses are really pretty, even prettier than mine. I really outdid myself this time. I smiled to myself.
"Well then girls, let's go"
