It began when I first laid eyes on her, the princess of Ninjago. I didn't dare admit my feelings after discovering Lloyd held the the same feelings towards her. I held back wishing one day I'd be able to confess my love. Fate of course denied me my right and had her killed or so I had originally thought......
It was a fine morning in Ninjago and I had went out to buy groceries for the Monastery of Spinjitzu. As I had been on my way to buy cake for Kai's birthday that's when I saw her. She was alive and better then ever. I took a chance and made my way to her, temporarily letting cake slip my mind.
Harumi looked into my eyes and froze, I feared she might run away from me. That fear was overthrown when she calmed down.
"Hello," Harumi said softly her voice sounding like an angel.
"Hi," I said with a smile "It's been a while."
Harumi giggled and nodded in agreement "Yes it has," She spoke with a wonderful smile "Way to long of time."
I took a deep breath and took a chance "Would you like to come back with me?" I asked her "I'm sure the others would like to see you."
"Are you sure of that?" Harumi questioned fear creeping in from the look in her eyes.
"I'm sure Lloyd told us how you saved that family," I explained as I grabbed her hand gently.
A sigh of relief fell from Harumi "Okay," She said softly "Then I'll come with you."
Together Harumi and I picked out a cake for Kai's birthday. We then picked out a small one just for us and I paid for everything. I drove her home in my new car. We both talked about the Oni, each of us sharing our thoughts on the species. Upon arriving at the Monastery I helped Harumi out of the car and together we brought everything inside. Everyone was out keeping Kai busy, so that gave us plenty of time to set up everything for the party including dinner.
The party seemed to fly by with Harumi there to celebrate us, even if Nya was upset I had invited her. The thoughts of the others did not bother me. After the party I led Harumi to my room and we ate the small cake.
A soft yawn came from Harumi as she looked over at me.
"Tired already?" I asked with a soft smile.
"Oh no," Harumi replied smiling back as she put the plate and our forks on my bedside table "So what's next?"
I was a bit unsure at first, but then it came to me as I took a deep breath.
"I have something to confess," I answered her question "Something I've been wanting to do for a while."
Harumi had a frightened look but she motioned me to continue.
"I've been in love with you since I first saw you Harumi. I never admitted my feelings because I thought you and Lloyd would end up together," I took another deep breath "After tonight I know now that there's a possibility of us being able to be with one another."
Harumi blushed deeply and was taken back by what she had just heard "Can I admit something too?" She asked me gently.
I gave a nod in response as I waited for her to speak once more.
"I have feelings for you to Cole," She told me as she came a bit closer "I held them back because of my plans. But many times I wanted to throw them away and rush into your arms. The only thing that held me back was my anger towards Lloyd, but I know now that it wasn't his fault for what happened to my parents. I know I can't make up for everything but I want to make it up with you. I want to fix my mistake of not rushing to you and confessing my feelings."
I pulled Harumi into a hug and kissed the top of her head "I'd enjoy that very much," I told her with a smile.
"Would our confession make us official on the whole dating subject?" Harumi asked as she looked up at me.
"I believe so," I replied with a bright smile.
Harumi snuggled into my chest and I pulled her closer. She whispered something into my ear causing me to blush, I gave her a nod as I let go of her. I locked the door to my room and went back over to her. For the rest of the night we had some fun.
