Chapter 16

Megan POV

Chris and I are now laying on the grass together drying up cause we were wet before but now were dry and not muddy anymore.

Megan: this is nice isn't it

Chris: yeah I wish I could stay here where no one could find me

Megan: why?

Chris: I just want to get away

Megan: even from your parents?

Chris: it's complicated, sometimes they only care about their business, don't they just need to chill for a little while

Megan: I wish my parents were still alive

Chris: oh yeah sorry

Megan: it's fine, but I'm happy with my life at least I got my brother

Chris: that will kill you when you get back

Megan: you too! Yeah, because you're the one that sunk his car!

Chris: I thought we were over this!

I laugh at him.

Chris: so does this mean that after today, you still want to break up?

Megan: yeah, I guessed it's over, isn't it?

Chris: if you want it to be

Megan: yeah I do, I just can't deal with you right now

Chris: it's fine I can tell you are still mad at me for what I said earlier

Megan: yeah...

Chris: we better get going

Megan: okay

He handed me my jack pack and I took it, and we started walking back to the beach.

When we finally made it back to the beach, I looked at Chris, and he looked at me and said.

Chris: I had a wonderful time today

Megan: *smiles* me too

Chris: you probably should get going

Megan: are you trying to get rid of me?

Chris: no, I just don't want you to get in trouble

Megan: oh trust me, we are way past the trouble

Chris: oh yeah, so... Is this a good bye?

Megan: for now anyways

I smiled at him, and he smiled back at me. We both hug for a long time, we separated at the hug and I gave him one  last kiss on the cheek before walking away from him.

When I got back I found a worried looking family. I gulp and I walk over to them and said.

Megan: hey... guys

They all looked at me glared. I step back and Kevin came over to me but I keep stepping back.

Kevin: where have you been?!

Megan: I know I'm in huge trouble for not telling you I was leaving. But before you get pissed off with me I should probably tell you the truth before it gets out

Kevin: I'm listening

He said while folding his arm and still glaring down at me and I smile nervously at him and said.

Megan: um... it's about your car

Kevin: you're the one that took my car!

He yelled pretty loud so that the whole beach could here.

Megan: uh yeah...

I hand him the keys, and he snatched it roughly from my hand and said.

Kevin: little girl when we get back to the motel, you're in so much trouble. You're currently grounded for the remaining of tour, and when your 16 birthday comes and you ask me for a car, you know what I'm gonna say?

Megan: but that's not fair!

Kevin: life not fair, since you're the one that took my car!

Megan: so you're basically doing this out of revenge?

Kevin: yep and I'm just getting good at it

Megan: will see about that Big Bro

Kevin: yeah right little sis, now come on let's go tell everybody we are heading back to the motel

Megan: um Kev, there's one more thing I sort of left out

Kevin: and that would be *folds arm across his chest*

Megan: so we were trying run out the paparazzi, but we forgot that they may have recognized your car. So we got lost after losing them, and Christopher may have sunk your car in the mud.

Kevin: he did what?!

Megan: relax Kev I broke up with him not because he was  being a jerk to me

Kevin: oh... I'm sorry baby girl, I know how much you like him

Megan: it's fine can we just head to the hotel?

Kevin: sure but how are we  gonna get there since your ex's sunk my car!

Megan: you know those keys? Those are actually Chris keys, you can take those 

Kevin: great when I get there I can dump it in the ocean to see how he will like it!

Megan: Kevin, it was an accident

Kevin: you don't accidentally drive my car into quick sand Megan

Megan: you can if don't know where you're going... are you still mad?

Kevin: oh trust me little girl, I'm beyond mad. Just wait until we head back to the hotel.

Megan: great, just what I need another lecture *walks over to everybody else*

Kevin: *follows her*

When Kevin and Megan went back over to everyone else, they pack up their things and went into separate cars back to the motel  room.
