"Eomma, where's appa?" young Heerin asked Eunji.
"Appa? He is watching over us in a faraway land. Up there, in the clouds." Eunji hugged the young girl as she points towards the beautiful blue sky.
"Eomma, do you love appa?" young Heerin innocently asked.
"Why did you ask?" Slightly taken aback by the question, she turned to face the young kid.
"My friends said that you must not have loved appa, that's why he left."
That statement seem to have struck her. Trying to remain composed, she gave a warm smile to the kid and stroke her hair.
"Of course, I love appa... if not, we wouldn't have you."
"Then, do you miss appa?"
Eunji's eyes dulled at the question as she went into deep thought. How could she not miss him? He was the only person she have ever given her heart to. Looking at her daughter's doe eyes which very much resemble that of her dad, tears started to welled in her eyes.
Not wanting to cry in front of her daughter, she blinked her eyes a few times to dry her tears before flashing another smile at her daughter. "Of course, I miss him but he is in a better place now so I am happy. Alright, it is time to walk home, let's go." Eunji patted the young girl's head before holding her hand to walk home.
"Eomma, one more question. Is Appa handsome?" Eunji's daughter asked innocently, her curious eyes wide with wonder.
"Hmm..." Eunji's mind wandered back to the time she fell in love with her first love. She couldn't help but smile as memories flooded her mind, memories of a time when everything seemed magical and full of promise.
She remembered his doe eyes which were like pools of liquid innocence. She remembered his eye smiles where the corner of his eyes would crinkle ever so slightly whenever he smile, lighting up even the darkest of days. She remembered all the times her heart fluttered at the sight of him.
"He was the most handsome man I have seen," Eunji replied with a soft chuckle, her eyes sparkling with affectionate nostalgia. "He had a tall nose, a sharp jawline, beautiful doe eyes, and a charismatic smile. Whenever he smile, his eyes will crinkle slightly to form an eye smile..."
Heerin listened intently, her imagination running wild as she tried to picture the man her mother spoke of. "Is it like this?" she asked, mimicking the subtle crinkling of the corners of her eyes.
Eunji laughed, her heart swelling with love for her daughter.
"And do you think Appa's eyes will light up when he sees me?" Heerin asked with wide-eyed anticipation.
Eunji's heart melted at the innocence and hope in her daughter's question. "I'm sure he will, my darling," she replied with a tender smile. "Appa will see the most beautiful thing in the world when he looks at you—his precious daughter."
Eunji looked up into the sky, her eyes filled with mixed emotions. Heeseung, may we repay our regrets in this life in the next...

"Ringgg!" the alarm rang off, signifying the start of the day.
"Nooo..." Eunseo off her alarm clock instinctively and placed her pillow on top of her head, in denial that it was already time for her to wake up.
Eunseo continued to laze in bed for a few minutes before slowly sitting up with her shoulders slouching downwards, seemingly still in dreamland. She dragged herself out of bed to the bathroom to wash up.
She put on a simple white dress with some light makeup, getting ready for the outing later. Eunseo gave one last look at the mirror before deciding that it was satisfactory and left the house.

"So guys, any idea on where we should go?" Hyein asked.
"That, my dear, is the billion dollar question that we all have been thinking about." Eunseo joked.
"Have you guys eaten breakfast?" Lilian asked. Eunseo and Hyein shook their heads and Lilian motioned them to the nearby cafe. They gave each other a look and decided to have their breakfast there.

"Everybody, do you know that I recently came across this show that basically shows how people can be hypnotised and find out about their past lives!" Hyein exclaimed in excitement.
"Woah really?" Lilian leaned forward, clearly interested. Hyein then proceed to tell the whole process and scenario of the hypnosis therapy.
Just as Hyein was getting engrossed in her talking, Lilian suddenly questioned, "Wait a minute, what are you planning?", growing suspicious of this sudden topic.
"Hmm...I may or may not have booked an appointment with a hypnotherapist for the 3 of us?" Hyein said.
"Oh my gosh! I really wanted to find out how I was like in the past as well!" Lilian immediately agreed.
"Wow, that escalated fast." Eunseo casually commented.
"Come on Eunseo, don't tell me you are not curious to find out..." Hyein sing-songed as she look at her fingernails, acting nonchalent.
"You are not going to take a no as an answer anyways." Eunseo said.
"Yes! I knew you would agree!" Hyein's face immediately lit up as she gave a victory sign.
"Before that, can we go for some shopping first?" Lilian suggested.
"Sure, I have not shopped in a long time." Hyesung agreed.
After eating their brunch, they head off to the streets for some shopping.
The group came across a few street stalls and decided to get a friendship bracelet.
After which, they went to hypnotherapist clinic for the appointment.
When they arrived, the first thing that came to Eunseo's mind was 'Wow, this place has a vintage touch to it."
The whole place was decorated to mimic the interior of traditional hanok houses. The furniture chose carried a subtle beauty with quiet dignity. Amidst the peaceful vibe was a modern feel.
"Gosh, this is nothing what I have seen on television. " Hyein joked.
"Well, google maps did say that we are at the correct place." Lilian said as she shrugged her shoulders.
"How may I help you?" a lady suddenly approached the trio in which startled Hyein.
