Two year later

"Star and Sky Black! Get off of y'all grandfather!" I yelled at the two terrors that were currently teaming up to beat up poor Mellow. They giggled as he was struggling under their hold, and I began to laugh. I was making the girls something to eat for lunch and was glad that Mellow was here to help out and play with them so they weren't in the way.

"You want some?"I asked sticking my head to the side so I could see his response. He shook his head no and turned on the TV, probably trying to find something for the girls to watch. My assumption was soon confirmed when I heard the movie Trolls playing, followed by the girls blabbering somewhat lyrics.

Keeping it simple, I made them grilled cheeses and put apple slices for Star and grapes for Sky. I brought them out to the dining room and called them in to eat, which they wasted zero time to do. Mellow followed.

"I'm gonna go head to work now. The girls need anything?" Mellow asked. He used an app called TouchVoice that helps him communicate with people. He taps his screen, and words come out. It's easier for him rather than ASL, considering not everyone can read it.

"Uhh Nope. They're fine for now. I'm taking them shopping later though." I replied while rinsing up the pan I just used.
I hate dirty plates.

"Want Ice to go with you?" He asked me. Ice was someone that came with us from Freeridge. He was a few years older than me and was like a brother to me, and an uncle to the girls.

"Nah we will be fine. I'm just gonna go to the mall and then go to Mega Mart. We need more groceries" I said as I turned the pipe off.

"Alright. See ya later" he said back and smiled. I waved back and he left out the door and locked it.

"Mommy" Sky said with a full mouth of sliced grapes.

"Sky no talking with a full mouth" I told her and she nodded, finishing what was in her mouth.

"Momma bampa gone?" She asked me

"Yes baby he has work. Eat up you two, we gotta leave soon" I said back and they both nodded. Being home with them full time has its perks and downfalls. One perk being that they're already 2 years old and can speak at a good level, and the downfall being I have no personal life. I'm not rushing it though. Rushing into things is how these two ended up here.

When they finished eating, I made sure their clothes weren't dirty and grabbed their small bags and headed out to the garage and got them into the back of my pink G-wagon.
Yes, I'm somewhat in hiding, but who says I gotta let go of my signature pink? I won't give that up for anyone.

After making sure they were all situated, I looked at them through the rear view mirror and smiled.
Here I am, 20 years old, living in my own house with my two beautiful daughters, and on my dream island. Everything was going great for me.

"INMATE! GET OFF OF HIM!" I ignore the guard and sent blow after blow to the guy that I had pinned down. He tried to shank me. With a fucking pencil. At least have manners and be more creative with it. When I lifted to send another blow, I got sprayed in the eyes with mace and my hands flew up to my face, shielding my eyes.

"YO WHAT THE FUCK!" I screamed as I fell back. The guard wasted no time hitting my gut and cuffing me.

"Spooky! I'll save your ramen man!" I heard Azul shout out and I laughed as I felt my mouth burning too from the mace.

"Good looks fool!" I shouted out and everyone cheered. In the two years that I've been here, Los Santos has grown bigger than ever. We have some on the outside, and even more on the inside waiting to get out.

They threw me into solitary with a rag and told me to handle my eyes myself. It wasn't the first time I got maced, and sure as hell won't be the last.
Sapphire tore down my empire. She tore it down and left no traces of herself. I haven't even seen a picture of my babies. I'm here literally fighting for my life, and I have no idea what is happening with them. Here I am, 25 years old and no idea on what the hell is going on with my own kids, as I am locked up for possession of drugs, weapons, and assault with a deadly weapon. I'm not supposed to get out of here for another 14 years. After those 14 years, I swear on my life I'm gonna find Sapphire and take my kids.

Sapphire played me. She never wanted me from the jump. She sat there and lied to my face every day. I saw the switch when she stopped loving me, but I just hoped that she was going through mood swings. I stayed with her through a pregnancy that didn't involve my own fucking kids! She went and left without me, and here I am starting my life over from nothing. I just got released today after being charged with possession of drugs, and my main goal is to find her. I will find Sapphire if it's the last thing I do.

HEY YALL! That was part 1 of  Emerald! Honestly, I had no idea where this was going but i have some stuff planned out for the next chapter. Yes spooky is locked up. No he won't make a magical escape or randomly get charges dropped. This is not a fairytale. To refresh anyone's memory, Jayceon is the guy that Sapphire dated in the last book. Emerald is Sapphire (which should be pretty clear). Star and Sky are now two years old and see Mellow as a grandfather figure, which shouldn't come as a shock considering Emerald always saw him as a father
