Ann had just been released out of prison and is determined to get revenge on Carla by a hit and run.
Ann is waiting in her car right outside the factory waiting to make her move. As Carla comes out of the rovers she runs across the road and Ann misses her chance. But Steve comes out the rovers and shouts 'Carla! You've left your coat!' So as Carla runs to get her coat, Ann comes out of nowhere and as Sally (who was walking past) shouts 'Carla!' Carla turns, sees the car, the car hits Carla and Ann drives off leaving Carla lying in the road.
