greetings~~~it's been quite a while haha. oneshot song fic bc i'm unoriginal and this is just straight, unedited word vomit. i say this is flynn x elsa but honestly once you read it, there's no type of overarching ship in my opinion. based on the beautiful song "i don't wanna waste my time" by joji. my king. if cheating ain't yo cup of tea, don't read (duh). subtle hints of sex and drugs so uhh read at ur own risk?? if i can't be by your side

flynn can't remember the first time he noticed elsa. it was probably at a party.

he can't remember the last time he wasn't bored.

flynn was the typical teenage boy–not popular, not unpopular. a little awkward at times, but otherwise socially adept. a member on the track team. likes to look at naked pictures of girls. does drugs occasionally, but he never makes a fuss about it. hates his parents, unless guilt-tripped by one of those stupid commercials that are like, 15 minutes long. average grades. on the track to college, at least. good amount of friends.

there wasn't anything special about him, and he was okay with that.

he also had a girlfriend. rapunzel. blond hair, green eyes. their relationship was also pretty typical. they met during lunch through mutual friends. he thought she was cute, she thought he was cute. he hit her up on snapchat, and they eventually began to go out. sure, rapunzel was sweet. she was the type of girlfriend that met all your expectations and more—nice, smart, a little bit above average in bed—and that's what was boring about her.

it wasn't love at first sight when flynn saw elsa. it really wasn't anything. he knew her vaguely from the hallways at school. she was probably in his health class, but who was he to remember? he'd seen her at parties. yeah, she was actually really pretty. but they just had different friends, so they didn't talk.

it was at a party, he was pretty sure.

f: u sure u don't wanna go to the party?

r: i really have to get the essay done or my ass'll get whooped...

f: ok. so ur ok if i just go with sum friends

r: yeah. i trust you

f: thx :)

r: have fun :)

f: i'll call u

and that was pretty much it. flynn got a ride to the party with his friend fred, and that's where he got to talking to elsa.

now it wasn't his intention to talk to other girls at the party. he wasn't that much of an asshole to do something like that. that's not what he came to do. but it kind of just happened.

flynn had been talking to his friend guy, and elsa had walked up to them, greeting guy.

"hey, els. how you been? this is flynn, by the way," guy gestured with his chin to flynn.
elsa smiled politely at flynn, and he did the same. "you know, the usual. you seen fred lee anywhere? looking for a spliff."
"he might be in the basement?" flynn shrugged.
elsa nodded. "'k, thanks." she walked away.

that was their first encounter. nothing special at all.

a few hours later, everything was a little more surreal. flynn felt a little dizzy, but nothing intense. he took his time walking down the stairs of the basement, where he found a few people sitting on the couch.
