Once we pull into the now under construction avengers facility, happy is already waiting there. He's leaning on the new silvery mustang, his arms folded in an almost scolding way

I step out of the back seat of the car with Morgan wrapped in my arms. After about 10 minutes into the car ride, she had a panic attack and wouldn't calm down unless we let her sit in my lap

Happy runs over to us and lifts Morgan from my arms, then spots the side of my arm which has a giant red gash on it

"Peter what happened?" he says, worried but stern

"Its nothing"

"Come with me" i can tell by the tone of his voice that im going to be here awhile

"You can go home you guys" May raises an eyebrow

"No way peter, we're staying here" I grab her hand and lead her back to the car

"No, you're going home. I'm going to be here awhile, Happy will bring me home but im going to need to fill them in about Vulture and im not leaving Morgan until im sure shes okay"

"She has pepper she'll be fine-"

"May, please"

"Okay" she gets into the car and looks at Ned

"You coming?"

"Ha, no way! This is the avengers building!"

"Ned-"

"Come on Peter, this is my life's dream!" I roll my eyes

"Ned is going to stay here, love you"

"Love you" then she drives off

I hear a scream and spin around to find Morgan, awake and angry

"Morgan your mom is right inside the building, let's go see her, okay?"

"NO!" she shrieks, she's got a loud scream for someone so small

"I want peter" her shrieks turn into sobs as she goes limp in Happy's arms

I run over and grab her hand

"Hey hey, its okay Morgan, you want me to walk with you?" she wipes her eyes and nods

As we walk she rests her head on my shoulder and her sobs deteriorate into whimpers. As soon as we enter the building. I see through the glass door; a distressed figure, slumped over in a chair, her hands buried in her hair

Happy opens door and her head jolts up to meet my eyes. The first signs I see are of anger, hatred for me. It's only a flash. only a millisecond of hostility, but it's there. Then she walks over and hugs me

"Thank God you're okay" she says, wrapping her arms around me

"Yeah, she'll be okay after a bit of rest and-"

"I meant you, thank God you're okay. I know as long as you're here, Morgan will be fine" i force back an idiotic smile and attempt to put Morgan down

The key word "ATTEMPT" she refuses to let go of me

"Hey Morgan, it's your mom, don't you want to see her" she grabs onto my shirt and squeezes tighter

"Nooo!" she yells

She begins to breathe heavier and squirms around. I set her on the couch in the front lobby and sit next to her

"I'm going to go get my arm fixed, you wanna stay with your mom?" she shakes her head, her bottom lip begins to quiver but she still manages to let go of my arm and looks down at her feet
