I shifted to a one hundred eighty degree angle and saw you standing down the steps of your porch. The sun had already hid itself under the obscurity of the clouds and the sky grew darker and darker in each passing second, with my thoughts doing the same thing. 

No. Stop the dark thoughts. 

"What are you doing here?" You took imperceptible steps up the stairs and stopped just three inches in front of me. "I mean, it's still six thirty. I thought you're still working on your shift in Simon and Schuster's. Did Mr. Hall gave you an early out?"

My hand made contact with your cheek. I didn't know it could be that heavy to perfect a hard slap on your face. 

"You lied to me." I choked out, a tear travellling down my once stainless skin.
