Skies fade into various hues
Lavender, pink and blue
As as sunny light
Gives way to night
And dreams come upon us
Dreams of another reality
Dreams of a world
That is blanketed by the night sky
A vision of stars upon the silky canvas
That lies above our heads
The sky above us fades away
As sleep takes us to another day
As we dream at twilight
