I arrived at the exact time they requested. Surprisingly, no one else but (Y/N) was there.
She sees me and waves at me, alluring me to stay with her.
"Hey Adam."
"Hey. Where are the others?"
"They said that they'd be a bit late because they are sooooo busy playing dress up." There was a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"I don't believe it."
"Yeah, me neither. I mean, James could just wear a Pokémon shirt and pants and just leave."
"Yeah. They're probably plotting something against us."
(Y/N) chuckled.
"I'm gonna order something. You want something?" I asked.
"I'd like a S'mores Frappuccino."
"Good choice."
I finished ordering our drinks and we talked for a while.
Finally, the Scheming Duo have arrived.
"Heeeyyyy guys~" Jaiden greets us playfully.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes and told me to ignore them and we LITERALLY ignored them.
"So Adam. Did you hear something?"
"Noooo. Maybe you're just imagining. Too bad James and Jaiden are running late. We should just leave."
"Good idea. Let's go to the amusement park and buy tickets only for US."
We headed for the door and the duo look like their about to cry.
"PLEASE GUYS! WE ARE SORRY!" the two bawled. They started shaking us.
I recorded the whole thing.
"Oh no. I think the force is going crazy. What do we do Adam?"
"GUYS, YOU'RE TERRIBLE PEOPLE!!!"
James shouted. Well, to be precise. He sort of screeched like a pterodactyl.
(Y/N) and I thought that it was enough so we decided stopped the act.
"Oh, James and Jaiden are here," I said.
"Hey guys, the weirdest things happened. We were shaken by the force and--"
"Oh shut up guys." Jaiden was pissed.
"Whatever, let's just go," James said.
"Alright," (Y/N) agreed playfully.
I fist bumped (Y/N) and the look on her face says, "Success."
We bought tickets and made our way in the amusement park. It looked so awesome. There were roller coasters, a haunted booth, a Ferris wheel and many more. The scenery was just--wow!
We went to so many rides. Then we ate some snacks. Right after, we went to the horror booth. It was actually good but we were too old to get scared.
The last ride we went to was the Ferris wheel. A room could fit two people. I suspected that James and Jaiden would try to have (Y/N) and I in the same one, not that I'm complaining. But I was wrong.
"I'm riding with Adam," James said.
"Sure. I'm riding with (Y/N) then," Jaiden said.
I widened my eyes in surprise. So did (Y/N). She did not expect this, either.
We get on the ride and James and I are having a normal conversation. Then, he tells me this.
"You know, the winter days are coming. It's going to be December."
"Yeah, I noticed."
James smirks and shakes his head.
"No you don't."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Then, it occurs to me.
"Her birthday."
"Finally."
She mentioned it one time while we were in the car.
"She's actually into you."
"What?! No."
"It's pretty obvious."
"What would you know?"
"I was a ladies' man in high school."
"And you were oblivious to everything they did."
"Alright you got me there."
The Ferris wheel had stopped and we got off the ride.
"You guys great?" Jaiden asked us.
"Yeah. It was good," James answered.
(Y/N) is a blushing mess. When she caught me looking, she looked away, her face in a darker shade of red.
"You okay?" I asked.
"I-I'm f-fine. Ignore me."
I looked at Jaiden, who was pretending to act innocent.
"Shall we go home?" Jaiden asked.
"Yeah..." I answered, still suspicious.
We all went home and (Y/N) still tends to avoid me. I wonder what happened in that ride.
