Chapter 1: First sign

I was in a deep sleep. Felt as if it was a nightmare, in my dream I noticed a ship coming to the United States. The ship had humans, that didn't look like they were normal. I noticed how their face could turn half zombie, then back human. It was the most horrifying thing to see. Everyone was depending on me to find a cure for the disease. The dream startled me, so I awakened from the dream to get a cup of water. My name is Dr. Howard, I am a surgeon and a cardiologist at Lincoln Center Hospital. I live in Ohio, I am 25 years old. "Ring, Ring", It's 2:45 A.M., Who can possibly be calling this late? I answer the phone, DR.HOWARD! This is nurse Katie calling, we need you at the hospital as soon as possible. Yes, nurse Katie I will be there. I haven't had a late call like this in a while. It must be something very serious. I put on my clothes and grab my car keys and head out to, the hospital. When I arrived at the hospital, Nurse Katie was standing by the front door. Dr. Howard, we have a patient that came in round 1:30 A.M. he is experiencing high blood pressure, high fever and a change of color in the face. We have given him medicine to treat the symptoms, but it's not working. He is in room 106 and his name is James Cordon. I walk down to the patient's room. He looks so drained, Hi my name is Dr. Howard. How are you feeling? I don't know what's wrong with me I never felt like this before." I just want this all to go away," Said James. I do as well. Have you been out the state lately? Yes, I was in Russia two weeks ago. May I ask what you were doing over there? To visit some of my family. Okay, I'm going to take some blood from you to run some test. I just want to be well Dr.HOWARD. I'm going to do everything in me to get you well James.
