Fukase

BANG BANG BANG

"Fukase come on!!! We are going to be late!!!" My brother Arsloid yelled.

"HOLD YOUR HORSES! I'M COMING!" I yelled back.

I sighed and looked at my mascot, point. He's always been my friend ever since I could remember.
Point looked at me and shook his head.

My name is Fukase, I'm 15 years old. I live with my older brother, Arsloid who is 20 years old. Our oldest sibling, our sister CUL, is 25 years old and is in college and holding down four jobs. She helps pay bills and put food in our bellies. My brother works two jobs to pay everything else. Our Dad was an alcoholic and our mother did drugs. So our uncle took care of us for many years, until he passed.

My brother and sister used to be popular in their school days.

CUL had three best friends, IA, Yukari, Lily. They were all younger than her. But she loved all of them. Obviously she had more friends than those three but she favors them over everyone else.
CUL introduced Arsloid and me to the three girls YEARS ago. Arsloid and Lily fell for each other instantly and have been with each other since then.

Arsloid has three best friends as well. Kaito, Yohio, and Leon.

Kaito and Leon are now young  teachers at the public high school.

They played basketball in the front yard, baseball in the back yard and hung out almost everyday, until girls came into their life.
Arsloid, just like CUL, had more friends then just those three.

It really upset me how they all had so much friends, but I could hardly make any. There was one thing that scared people from me...my face. One side is full of scars...
I've had one girlfriend my entire life, Miku. She cheated on me.
Before we broke up, all she really wanted was for us to screw around in bed. But, I never viewed her like that. She was cute, but I didn't like her enough for that. Plus we were eleven. That's a bit young. We met at a public park around ten o'clock at night. And broke up two years later at ten o'clock at night.

"FUKASE! YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!" Arsloid yelled again.

I put and eye patch over my completely red eye and run out the door.

Arsloid was in the red van waiting for me. He's supposed to drive me to a new school about 15 minutes away from home. Since I was ten years old, I was home school because of my face. But Arsloid says we can't home school me anymore.

He was driving, I was staring out the window as if it was the last time I would see it before I die. I watch the house get smaller and smaller within distance. What I wanted more than anything was to just run back in, go to my room, lock the door, flop on my bed and never leave again.

About five minutes in the car, Arsloid speaks.

"Eye patch, huh?"

"Yea. I don't want to scare people this time." I answered.

"I see."

Moment of awkward silence passed.

"So... I was thinking..." Arsloid trailed off.

I look at him.

"Yea?" I responded .

"What would you think about me and Lily getting married?" Arsloid asked.

"You and her getting married? About time." I answered with a smile

I liked Lily. I viewed her as another sister. In fact, CUL specifically said if anything happened to her and Arsloid, she wanted Lily to take care of me, which Lily smiled and agreed.

"I'm so glad. Because....I got engagement ring in my room, in my desk. I just needed your "ok" on it."

I smiled.

"We are heeeeere" Arsloid sung.

The van was pulled in front of the school.

"QUICK TURN BACK! I CAN'T DO THIS!!" I yelled.

"Just go, you Strawberry!!" Arsloid  teased.

"Alright you tomato!" I yell back but not as loud. I grab my bag and leave the van. Before I left, I slammed the van door shut, which Arsloid hated.
