1 : First Sight

Hongseok's pov.

I walked to a bakery early in the morning, didn't know if the bakery was opened or not yet. It's my sister's birthday so I have to buy cake for her. I should buy it yesterday but, yeah.. I forgot.

I bought a strawberry cake, her favorite. As I was about to make the payment, there was a girl beside me muttering. I just ignored her and paid the cake.

"Excuse me," that girl tapped my shoulder and I immediately turned to her.

"Can I borrow some money? I don't bring any today. I'll pay you after school, here," she asked me politely.

Then I realized that she's wearing the same school uniform like mine but I didn't wear it yet. It's too early. She's the student in my school but I never notice her. Is she a new student?

"Sure," I handed her the change that the cashier gave to me just now.

"Ah, thank you so much. Sorry," she bowed politely.

I left the bakery and rushed to my house. I'm pretty sure that my sister already awake at this hour.

Right after I opened the door, my little sister ran towards me and gave me a hug with her small arms.

"Oppa, eomma said I'm turning 6 today," she said while pinching my coat.

"Yes, you're a big girl now. Look, what I bought for you," I showed her the cake box.

"Wahh! I like cake!" she hopped happily, trying to catch the cake.

We went to the table and opened the box.

"Happy Birthday to you~ Happy Birthday to you ~ Happy Birthday Yang Eunbi ~ Happy Birthday to you ~" 🎵

Singing the song, Eunbi blew the candle and we started eating the cake with our parents.

"Oppa, thank you," Eunbi gave a peck on my cheek.

"You're welcome," I replied it with putting a slight cream on her nose.

She whined while hitting my hand with her tiny palm. After I finished eating the cake, I quickly rushed to my room, getting ready for school.
