"Hello! You must be new here! My name is y/n. and from now on, i will be taking good care of you!" You said to the young boy who happens to be around your age.

"Yeah. I suggest you not to come near me. I'm dangerous. I can come kill you anytime." He spat. You just looked at him with a questioning look.

"Kill me? Oh don't make me laugh! It is me who might happen to kill you anytime sooner" you said some insulting words but managed to keep up a smiling sweet face.

"Oh.. i see" he said, looking at you with an annoyed look "people don't really talk to me because they say i'm a killer. But i never once killed anybody. I'm just a son or an heir to a skilled assassin. But i was never asked to kill." He said, looking down.

"Well, don't worry. I'm also an assassin's heir. And people don't really talk to me even if i just start conversations. They would run away." You said, not really caring to whoever is listening.

"Yeah sure. I don't care about your life story, just get lost." He said, you were embarassed because you just realized that you were actually saying nonsense. But you just acted cool.

"Don't be so cold. You should actually be thankful that someone is talking to you. Well, i'm gonna go, see you around. And if i come back, we should be friends already." You said and turned around to leave. You were walking around the city as you noticed something.

Someome was following you.

But you continued to walk and corner that person.

"Don't test me, just show yourself." You said as you turned around and saw the boy you encountered earlier. It was no surprise to you for a reason, you just accept the fact that someone you met minutes ago was now following you for some unknown reasons.

"What do you want?" You asked as he stuttered "i-i w-wanna.." he was embarassed at the moment. But you knew what he wanted.

"You want to be friends?" You asked before he could say it. As he looked up to you with widened eyes as he just nodded. You gave him a reassuring smile.

"Okay then, tag along if you like" you said, continue walking around the city. You were actually too young to walk in the city alone. But this was an order from your parents, they want you to explore the city, have an adventure, memorize the city at all means. A city which will soon..

be under your control one day.

"So who are your parents? You said they are famous assassins right?" You asked the pressured boy, which can't find the words he wanted to say. "Lee-"

"Oi jeno! What are you doing here? And with this girl! The daughter of our enemy! Let's go jeno. Better not stick with this dangerous killer child. And you, get lost." An old woman said and dragged the boy who happend to be their son.

He looked at you sadly, not wanting to accept the fact that you were his enemy.

"Let's meet again after 9 years. Same place." You gave him a smile but his tears suddenly rushed down and gave you a nod.

He actually wanted to be your friend. He wanted to be free but judging by his family name, he will surely be strictly punished by his family for seeing you.

Just as i thought, he's an enemy. But even so. It was written all over his face that he wanted to be free. You thought. I swear... after 9 years, i will get stronger and save you, lee jeno.

Hellooooo! So this is actually not my very first story. But this is my first nct book. And i decided to unpublish some of my boystory oneshot books because of some problems even if that reached alot of views and votes. Like what they say, you need to get out of your comfort zone at least for once. But i do promise i will get those books back (or at least try to.)
