"Dad wants to talk to you." Miles says while shoving more ottmeal in his mouth.
I roll my eyes "don't talk with your mouth full you daft cun-." My sentence cut short.
"What have I told you about using that kind of language." My dad stern voice was heard behind me, muttering a sorry I walk into the kitchen getting my breakfast. Thanking my mum for making me pancakes.
"So what you want to talk to me about?" I say opening up the golden syrup bottle squirting it all over my pancakes.
"I need help at the ring this afternoon."
"Why can't milly here help?" I point towards miles, he slapped my arm for using the girly nickname.
"That's not my name."
My dad rolls his eyes at us "miles has to train for his match today and I want you to help me with the voting section."
"Can't someone else do it?" My dad gave my that 'don't test me look' which made me shut up.
I huff getting ready to leave for school.
If I'm going to there all day I'd rather tell Gina to tag along it's going to be her pay back for making me walk home.
"Please please I beg you."
"I don't know my mum won't let me go."
"But you owe me after making me walk home all by myself in the dark." I pout giving her the puppy eyes.
"Fine." She says giving up. "But don't get your hopes up I have to ask my mum first."
"Okay I'll see you there bestie." I sing walking out the double doors out our school, looking around for miles he beeps running over to him I sit in the car.
I look out the window and see him.
What the hell, how come I've never seen him in our school before? Is he even in our year?
"Hey do you know who that guy is?" I ask miles pointing at him through the window.
"Who Lorenzo?"
"Yah..." I wait for him to continue but he doesn't say anything just his name.
I look our the window and see him light up a cigarette and pull it towards his lips exhaling a cloud of smoke. He looked up closing his eyes enjoying the moment.
Why the hell does he smoke if he's a boxer?
Oh well I don't care. Or do I.... nope I don't know him.
His eyes snap opened when he hears my brothers car engine start up, staring at our car his eyes meeting mine he doesn't stop starting until we were out of site.
