Chapter-3 Why Don't They See It?

Hi everyone! Thank you for all the votes and comments. Here I come with the next update. I am trying to give title to each part..and I think sometime it will be in hindi too..and sometime it may not actually relate to the particular part..plz bear it.

Ram- I am not gonna talk about it more. We are just friends that's it. And this conversation ends right here. Saying this he storms out of his bedroom.

If you fight like a married couple, talk like best friends, flirt like first love and protect each other like siblings, you're meant to be.

"For the last time Neha I am not in love with Ram..ok? The thing that Ram and I have is way too special. Giving name to it will just spoil the bond we share." Priya says loudly to Neha, who is in Priya's house to talk something important. Priya didn't have any idea that "the important" thing will be talking about her and Ram. They are in Priya's room and Priya is getting ready.

Neha- What is the matter with you guys yar? Why you two can't see it that you two are meant to be? You both are so perfect for each other.

Priya while wearing earrings-Neha, giving name to relationships and bond is not important.. kuch rishto ko naam ki jarurat nahi hoti..Ram aur main jaise hai waise hi khush hai..humare bich mein jo bond hain na..usse kisi naam ki jarurat nahi hai. I love him but not that "Love" love. I love him as a friend and that's the truth.

Neha- So you are in love with someone else right? Is it Rajat?

Priya- What!? I am not in love with anyone Neha. And Rajat is just my boss. We were not so good friends in college also. Kabhi Ram kabhi Rajat..lets talk about some other thing please?

Neha- No! Aaj na ya iss par ya uss par..pata hai Sudhir uncle tumhari kitni chinta karrte hain...why are u always running away from marriage?

Priya moves towards cupboard looking for her bag and says- I have responsibilities Neha.I don't like the concept of marriage. Marriage is not my cup of tea. I don't need anyone in my life to make it better. I am happy with whatever I have got. Getting married to a stranger leaving and giving up all the things and family that have been there since birth. I just can't go through all this. . I don't know why people think women can't be anything without marriage. I can manage my own life without any so called life partner.

Neha who was sitting on the bed till now stands up saying- Marriage is not just about managing life Priya. It's about happiness...it's about sharing pain and being with each other in time of need. I am married and I don't think any other thing would give me such happiness that marriage gives me. Humare saath hamesha dost ya parents nahi rehte isiliye life companion ki jarurat padti hai. Jo sirf humare liye ho. And Ram and you share the exact same bond that's needed for a happy married life. You two fit like pieces of puzzle in each others life. Why you two can't give it a try to understand each other as a life partner. Don't you think Ram could be a good husband?

Priya- Nehaaa! Will you stop it? I am not gonna agree on this..aur ye jo papa bol rahe hain naa tumhare mu se...mujhe sab pata hai..papa ne ye sab tumhe kaha hai mujhse kehne ko.. aur main papa se bhi yehi kahungi..mujhe shaadi waadi nahi karni..Mujhe naa shaadi ke concept se hi darr lagta hai

Before Neha could say anything Priya interrupts saying-chale ab? Der ho raha hai..maa ne lunch ke liye bulaya hai

Neha-arre waah..inn kapdo mein naa tum bohot acchi lag rahi ho..trying to impress your future mother-in-law?
Saying that she winks at Priya. Priya gives a deadly stare to her and Neha smiles. Priya was wearing white kurti and blue jeans looking beautiful with light and simple makeup.

They both go to Kapoor mansion where Krishnaji welcomes them. Priya feels different behaviour of Krishnaji today..she is feeling like a guest there today..usually she is not habituated of the guest treatment. She feels like her own home but today she is confused by her behaviour. All sit for the lunch. Neha and Krishnaji are busy gossiping while Priya smiles seeing them. Krishnaji is like her mother for her. When she lost her mother a year ago, it was Krishnaji and Ram who handled her. Her father himself was devastated and her siblings were also not in good position. Her thoughts stop when Krishnaji asks Priya- Priya shadi ke baare mein kya socha hai tumne?

Neha- chod do aunty..madam ko.shaadi hi nahi.karrni

Priya glares at Neha and replies to Krishnaji- mujhe shaadi nahi karni hai maa...apni family ko chod ke jaane ka darr lagta hai mujhe..aur jitne bhi proposals aaye hain sirf iss wajah se work out nahi hua...har ladka apni family ko support karta hai..apni income apni family ke saath share karr ta hai..main ek ladki hoon..sirf isiliye shaadi ke baad apni income apne pati ke family ke saath share karna padega.. log aisa kyun samajhte hain ki shaadi ke baad ladki ka apna parivaar usse chut jata hai aur saari responsibilitues bhi chut jati hai..meri responsibility hamesha rahegi apni family ke saath...iss ek baat ko koi ladka nahi samajhta..

Krishnaji- aur Rajat? Woh toh maan gaya tha naa iss condition ke liye phir kyun mana kiya uske saath shadi ke liye?

Priya- nahi maa..woh shaadi ke baad foreign country pe settle hona chahta hai..aur ye mujhse nahi hoga..

Before she could say sth, Priya tries to avoid the topic saying- Ram kahaan hai?

Krishnaji- office gaya hai

Priya- aaj sunday ke din pe bhi kaam kar raha hai...apko ghar pe akela chod ke..abhi daant lagati hoon

Priya calls Ram on his mobile and he picks up saying- haan bol

Priya- kahaan hai tu

Ram- kahaan hoon matlab office pe hoon

Priya- sunday kaunsa kaam hota hai office pe...itna zyada hardworking ka naatak karne ki jarurat nahi hai.. ghar aaja...main aayi hoon..aur tu maa ko akele chod ke chala gaya..woh bimaar hai tujhe pata hai

Ram- meri mehnat ki kadr nahi hai na tujhe..mere ghar pe kya karr rahi hai tu..aur hello maa 1 hafte pehle bimaar thi..abhi she is doing fine

Priya-kya mera ghar laga ke rakha hai? Ye meri maa ka ghar hai pehle okk...aur unhe viral fever thaa..abhi puri tarah se thik nahi hui hai..bahane banaa kar jata hai ghar se bahar..abhi bhi shayad kisi ladki ke saath hoga..jaldi aaja ghar

Ram irritatedly- main office par hi hoon...aaj important meeting hai..delhi ke XYZ company se meeting ke liye aaye hain..woh meeting khatam hone ke baad hi main aunga...tujhe der ho jaye toh tu chali jaa..main shaam tak aajaunga

"Who is on phone Ram? We are in the middle of meeting if you realize. Can't you switch off your phone?"

Ram saying bye hangs up the phone and enters in the meeting room following the lady.

Priya- Neha yar ye saaf saaf jhuth bol raha hai mujhse..maine ladki ki awaaz suni ..main abhi jaa rahi hoon uske office..mujhse jhooth bolega..ruk abhi..Neha maa ko bata dena ki main chali gayi Ram ke office....saying this Priya goes.

Krishnaji who went to kitchen to bring halwa comes saying- arre...Priya kahan gayi

Neha smilingly says- wo chali gayi aunty apne Ram ke paas ...

Krishnaji puts the bowl of halwaa on the table and sits on the chair saying- pata nahi inn dono ko kab akkal aayegi...hume jo dikhta hai ye inn dono ko kyun nahi dikhta..

Neha sighs saying- haan aunty...pata nahi kab samjhenge ki ye dono ek dusre ke liye perfect hain ..

In Kapoor Industries

"Mam aap andar nahi jaa sakti..important meeting chal rahi hai" Jenny, Ram's assistant tried to stop Priya.

Priya getting irritated- You very well know Ram never says no to me..whatever meeting it is..I'm going to meet Ram right now..

Saying that Priya barges into meeting room to see a lady hugging Ram and her back facing Priya. Ram looks towards the door to see Priya with angry look...as the lady realizes someone entered in the room, getting out of hug she looks towards the door to see Priya. Priya shocked to see her and says- ESHA!!!
