Long before any of us knew, gods and goddesses ruled the Earth. There were many battles and conflicts and romances.
That was all taken away once Romans gained control of their beloved home.
The deities had to leave Mount Olympus, the Underworld, or whenever they may be and follow the Romans.
They were merely added to the list of these other so called gods. Many went silent.
Thousands of years passed. The Horae sisters went silent. All except for Eirene. She despised the name the Romans had given her, Pax.
Thousands of years went by and Eirene slowly forgot the life she once had. She forgot her sisters, even Dike and Eunomia.
She forgot her mother, Themis. She forgot her father, Zeus. She forgot the beautiful temples, her subjects, the new gods she had raised. She forgot all of them.
For now there is only darkness. A never ending sleep. She doesn't know why she went to sleep. Perhaps to try and remember again.
And as she sleeps, Rome falls. Peace is no more. And there will be none until she wakes up.
