I did something I should regret. But I don't. Here, I tell my story. My story of love, hatred, theft, jealousy, guilt, and murder. But I wouldn't be the person I am today if this chilling story hadn't gone the way it did. Sit back, grab your favorite snack and listen close. If you do all of this, by the end, you might be a changed person too.
My story starts in august 2019, my 8th grade year. My class was relatively normal, and I enjoyed most of them, so I thought i'd be friendly and share my favorite thing: candy. There was one boy in particular who I believed only wanted my sweet, sweet candy. He was relatively nice so it didn't bother me too much, and I was a friendly so I shared my candy with him. I thought he was harmless, but oh was I wrong.
His name, indiana.
The first day, I didn't see anything different. I was only missing a few pieces and I assumed I had just given more than I thought. But I hadn't. Over the next month and a half, I was always missing a few and that played a toll. People would stop asking me for my candy because I was always missing some. I wasnt Kelly With The Candy anymore, I was Kelly WITHOUT The Candy now. I needed to catch the culprit. It became my obsession.
I planted a trap, I brought Fun Dip and didn't give it to anyone. As I suspected it was gone by lunch, and all I had to do was find the blue mouthed criminal. And finding him changed me as a person. I found out in french class, right after lunch. Indiana, he had the thefts mouth, all blue and sugary. I decided I needed to act soon to get my revenge, to honor all my dear sweets he took from me. From Kelly, the girl with candy. But I would no longer be the girl with candy.
I would be the girl with murder.
I invited him to mother earth coffee with me after school day. He agreed. I bet he regrets craving that Strawberry Smoothie now.
I said I had forgotten my science homework in my locker and asked we could walk back and get it. This was my moment. The moment that would change so many lives.
I suggested we go around back, it's quicker going this way. He agrees and we start to walk. We walk out the back door and we get to the wall we have to climb. I tell him he could climb it first, and he starts his climb.
This was my moment of brief hesitation, as all great murderers have. I could forgive and forget and give him a hefty warning, or I could carry out my plan. But before it's too late, I decide I will carry out my plan, turn my soul dark, burden so many people with the tragedy of death. I grab my knife and do the deed. He screams but he's silenced quickly as the blanket of death covers him entirely.
And the darkness in my soul, hidden away since my birth, came out in a ear shattering scream as my pure, cute, innocent self was demolished.
