The roar of the engine came to a quiet stop as the Impala in front of the high-school. The rain thundered on the roof of the car. Getting out and pulling her collar up she closed the door and walked to the dorm Cassie knew her cousin was in. Not wanting to bother the other students by knocking she snuck in, not meaning to bump into the stand the vase fell with a crash. Waking up Katie, she came running out of her room to find Cassie standing in the middle of her dorm, her light brown hair sticking to her face and her fanfiction green eyes shining.

"Cas? what are you doing here?"

Tears shone in the green eyes of Cassie her fathers baggy leather jacket engulfed her and the amulet hung around her neck. Falling to her knees sobs shook her chest.

"0-0ur p-parents w-went o-on a hh-hunting t-trip a-and h-haven't b-been h-home i-in an f-few d-days"

Katie ran to her cousin and hugged her as they both cried. Fear and concern filled them. Hearing their cries Kate's girlfriend Jessie came out and look at them. Not understanding what's going on she bent down and hugged the both of them. The tears soon stopped and Kate looked at Jessie.

"T-thanks B-babe"

"Of Course, now who is this?"

Standing up Cassie wiped her eyes and pulled the jacket tight around herself.

"I'm Cas, Her cousin. Kadie we have to go now"

"Hold on let me pack"

"Fine, While you do that I'll go sit in the car"

"Can I look at the car? I heard it's an antique"

"You can come as long as you don't call baby antique she's not old"

Jessie grabbed her jacket and followed Cassie down the stairs to the alley where she was parked. Cassie walked over and unlocked the Impala before opening the trunk. Jessie was looking at the car, when she lifted the hood Cassie slammed it shut.

"I said you could look I never said you could touch"
"Sorry but it's really amazing that it's 2018 and you have a car from 1967 still running."

"If you don't shut up my machete will meet your throat"

"How are you this violent and Katie is so sweet"

Cassie laughed and walked to the trunk again with Jessie following.

"That's funny."

Jessie's eyes went wide when she saw the arsenal in the trunk. Kate came up to them.

"I'm ready to let's get going. Jessie go back to the dorm ok?"

"Wait wait wait! You're just going off with this cousin that showed up! She has an arsenal in her trunk! Are you stupid!"

"Jessie please, you don't wanna know about this side of my life."

"I do! And you ain't going till you tell me everything!"

"Cassie do it"

Katie looked down as Cassie knocked Jessie out with the end of a shotgun. Cassie dragged her just inside of the dorm building and shut the door before heading back to her cousin. She closed the trunk and walked to the front.

"It had to be done Katie, now get in"

Cassie sat in the driver seat and Katie sat shotgun. Cassie started the Impala and turned on the radio. AC/DC was the cassette tape that was in.

"You really need to get CD's, I mean at least change the song"

"Driver Picks the Music Shotgun shuts their cakehole"

"Whatever"

Cassie smiled. She'd missed her cousin and this was awesome but she was sad that they had to meet again on such a bad reason.

"What were they hunting?"

"A big pack of vamps like more than 70 for them by they self, in South Dakota, they were staying in Uncle Bobby's cabin up there

"Idiots!"

The rest of the drive was silent, Cassie drove until it was dark before pulling into a crappy motel. They grabbed their duffle bags and packed an empty one with weapons they might need. As soon as they get to their room they collapse on the beds and fell asleep. Katie woke up the next day Cassie wasn't in the room she jumped up and started looking for her cousin. When she looked at the table she found a note. " Hey, Katie Bug went to get us some food don't freak out be back in a minute" Kate sighed in relief then huffed "Katie bug" just then Cassie walked in "your up sleep good?"
She asked as she walked to the table "mm" Katie sat down and they started to eat. "So I think I know where our dads are," Cassie said as she finished eating. "where?" Cassie grabbed a journal. "This is my dad's it was grandpapa's" Kate made a face "so?" "so he never goes without it in less he's telling us something" she started to flip thew the journal when she stopped she showed Kate somethings in the back.
"what the hell is that" "that my dear Watson is an angle blade," Cas said. "Not funny Cassie"
