Have you ever regained your mind after a coma? This is worse than that, I want you to just imagine waking up without your memory, I did. Within the few moments I was awake, I couldn't move at all, my legs felt like pure sludge.

First I was able to curl my fingers slightly, not much, but still enough. Next was my eyes, I woke up looking at a moldy grey ceiling, a ceiling I had never known...

If it weren't for my body just waking up after... how long has it been?... even if I knew I could tell it was a long time, but my mouth would have opened and let out a scream of terror...

I looked to my left to see a brownish wall, not neat, but ruined, the side table, if you could call 3 charred planks gingerly stacked on top of one another a side table that is...

I looked to my right next to see... a street, not because of a window, but because there was no wall, just a giant hole.

The street was green and very lovely looking with rainbows and small little kids running to the end and finding a pot of gold... If you couldn't tell, I'm being sarcastic. It however, was barren, the sidewalk a cracked and destroyed piece of artificial rock, as if something crumbled it, with small craters at some places.

Before I thought of what could have happened to it, I heard a door open. Imagine one of those old Victorian houses with creepy doors, but if it sounded like a nail scratched chalkboard instead. The only way I could know it was a door was because I could see a upper part of the burnt door in front of me, mostly open, but still barely within my line of sight.

I hear soft pats, like children sneakily running to a parents room on Christmas morning on the floor, a weird feeling as if being watched. My leg was slowly prodded at, fearing for my life, I didn't move. The soft thumps echoed in my head, fear courses through my veins.

As I looked up at the cold, barren ceiling, I just wished that I would be safe... I... I?... Who was I?...

As I laid on the bed, my heart spiked, my eyes watered, and a stench hit my nose, one of rotten meat and bad body odor. A large black shape stood up in the room, right where my foot was being prodded. The shape had one eye, a toxic green eye that looked into my soul. Before I knew what happened, my eyes shut from fear, my mind retreating to a coma like state.

(Side note, please know that this is still in development and I need time since school is a pain. Comments are helpful.)
