"Y/n! there's three on the right!" A calm voice of a man coming from your earpiece who you couldn't recognize announced. You automatically turn your aim to the right to kill the flying yoju. The yoju noticed you and tried to fly towards you but your bullets were faster, killing them in just one shot, aimed their open cores.

You hear him chuckled on the line.
"Good work today." This time, it isn't from the radio. He appeared in front of you making you startled and took a step back.

You couldn't see his face clearly for some reason. Only a familiar silver necklace with a single leaf clover pendant he's wearing gives you an idea that he's someone important to you. You look around to see the devastated city caused by the sudden appearance of the kaijus.

You can hear people crying in a distant, helicopters flying above, awful smell of the blood everywhere and the gloomy sky caused by the smoke from the ruined buildings around although it was sunny.

"Well then, let's go back and have a rest." He tapped your back and as both of you walked down the ruined staircase, the ground suddenly shook and in a split second, a honju appeared in front of you pulverizing the building that was left after that long fight against the Kaijus earlier.

"Y/n, look out!" The man exclaimed and the building you're on started to collapse. The rumbling sound grows louder and you lose your balance and fall with the debris from the building you're on.

He called your name as he tried to reach you. You stretched your hands but you're to far now. You still can hear him helplessly calling your name as he watched you fall until his voice faded away and everything went black.

You opened your eyes just to see the new scenery you will see everyday. You glance at the window to see the blue sky outside.You can hear the birds chirping and the smell of the Sunday morning air.

You sat up as you touched your head.

That dream again.

That dream has been haunting you for quite a while now. As far as you know, that dream is the only thing you have and a step to regain your lost memories.

You touch your three leaf clover necklace with your free hand as you stare blankly at nothing.

You stood up and immediately went to your bathroom to prepare yourself since you're going somewhere.

After you step out off your bathroom while your hair is dripping wet and your damp body is covered with a soft white towel, you couldn't help but to look around your room. The walls were painted white and the nude curtains were flying because of the blows of the wind from outside, your huge bed that has white sheets and light brown pillowcase and your furnitures that matches the whole vibe of your room. You couldn't help but to think what are the memories you made here.

It was your idea to come back in your home country. Your mother didn't agree with you but in the end, she gave up since it is also a huge help to recover your lost memories. You learned quite few things from your mother since she talks a lot about your childhood and your teenage years but it still didn't helped you recover. That's why your mother finally decided to go back here in Japan after living a peaceful life in the outskirts part of Sydney in Australia.

You also learned about Kaijus and how people deal with it. You also learned that it has something to do with your past. You got curious and started to ask your parents about it .But every time you open it up to your mother, she will always change the topic.

That's why you decided to go for it yourself. You took the exam secretly and patiently wait for the results. Luckily, you passed. You know that your mother wouldn't agree with it but as hardheaded as you are, you still found yourself standing in front of the colossal building to take the defense force selection test in West Tokyo.

There were so many people that will going to take the test. After doing all of the fitness test, jumping, climbing, running and so on. Basically, it's just something to do with testing your strength, flexibility and stamina.
You got your results immediately after.

15th out of 225.

No surprise, since all you did for two years is to do work outs and be physically active. You just find yourself to do physical related activities because it seems your body is capable of doing it.

Although your mother didn't share much regarding your talents before, your body knew quite well what it used to love on doing.

The next test will be more challenging for you.

"Well it didn't take long to show you up." You tilt your head to the petite blond girl mockingly talking to the kneeling man in front of her. The man had spiky hair, big eyes and a thin goatee on his chin.

The man screamed in embarrassment as the crowd watched them.
"Forget it! Forget my name right now!" He bowed his head and he bumped his forehead to the ground. The blonde girl grinned and walked off from satisfaction upon witnessing the man in a frustrated state.

A tall young man with a silver hair talk to the man but you couldn't hear what they're talking about. You're not the type to eavesdrop so you just walk off to find somewhere to sit.

"Here are the applicants this year."
In an office, a man with a purple bowl cut hair handed a pile of papers to a woman sitting in front of him.

The woman scanned the papers and see two familiar faces. First, the man with spiky hair whom you see earlier and the second one, she stared at it for awhile to check if she was right. She glanced at the man standing in front of her just to see his jovial expression fade on his face.

"It's her." The man said and the woman sitting nonchalantly stared at your file.

"She came back."
