The Waiting room is always the same wherever you're waiting, some things change like what you're waiting for but ultimately it stays the same. A person coughing a person chatting to another person there or on the phone, then there's you, sitting in a chair tapping your fingers to a tune no one hears, listening, waiting for someone to call your name. You almost hope that they'll forgot you, a thinly concealed terror that you're waiting for nothing. if they call your name where do you go? Would they come to you? These are all the questions floating around in your head. you hear someone getting called and they walk off, how did they know where to go? You feel like your throat is closing up, you know it's not. You feel someone looking at you, you look over and an old lady is smiling at you, you shouldn't find it creepy but you do, your mind tells you not to trust her but you don't listen to it, after all talking to yourself is a sign of madness, you hear you name being called, you duck your head and walk to the room your appointment is in, no one here needs to know where you're going after all.
