The LOVER

Catherine and I sat in the living  room today at 5 am and just talked about how four years ago out parents were murdered. We sat in silence until Sebastian came in. "Why are you both up so early?" He questioned. "Four years ago today our parents were killed." I said. "How?" He asked. "I came home from school and I was in the bathroom and I walked out and I saw a serial killer and he slaughtered my parents in front of me ... I live with my older brother in New York..." Catherine said. "I'm so sorry what about you Skylar ?" I looked down. " I was in a mental hospital for depression reasons I was locked up because I kicked the guard and there was a shooting and my parents were visiting and the guy shot my parents when I got out I saw my parents on the ground dead... It was my fault if I hadn't been depressed they wouldn't be gone." I said crying. I saw Emerson in front of me and he hugged me. "I'm so sorry sweetie why didn't you tell us sooner." He said holding me tightly. Sebastian was hugging Catherine tightly she started crying. An hour later we went to go visit their graves and we came back home. I didn't want to do anything all day. Catherine was with Sebastian watching a movie and Emerson went to get us food. I was home alone with Remington. "Hey Skylar how are you holding up?" He asked. "Go away Remington I wanna be alone." I groaned. He walked up to me and sat down next to me. "Tell me what happened." He said. I sat up and told him and he listened to every word I said. "I'm so sorry and it isn't your fault don't blame yourself." He said with a smile. I looked down. Remington kissed my head and walked out. Emerson came back with food and sat next to me. "Hey sweetheart you hungry?" He said and kissed my nose. "No just lay with me please." I said. He smiled and nodded. " alright I'll go put this in the fridge for tomorrow." He said. "Please hurry back." I said. He kissed my head. "I will." And he walked out. I curled up in bed. He came and laid down and hugged me. "It's okay let it out." He said and rubbed my back. I buried my face in his chest." Don't leave Emerson." I said as I cried. " I'm not going to I'll never let you down angel" he said and kissed my head. "Don't worry darling you'll be better later on." He said and hugged me. I didn't want to eat I just wanted to be with Emerson all day today. I fell asleep and I had another nightmare: it was the same one I had the first time I stayed over. Except this time we both killed each other.  I woke up shaking in fear and I saw Emerson looking at me I had no idea he was watching me. "Skylar it's okay it was just a nightmare." He said as he hugged me. I didn't know what they meant but It scared me. "What time is it. "1 pm" he said. "How long have I been asleep?" I asked. Not long you didn't go to sleep last night till midnight." He said. I looked at him and smiled. "Thank you for staying with me." I said as I placed my hand on his hair and stroked it. "Your welcome now. Come on get ready let's go watch a movie in the living room." He said
