Hell-Leina, The Lady from Hell

Leina! Leina! Leina!

The sun rays enter into her room as Leina prepares herself to school.  It was her daily routine.  To rise up early, take her first meal and travel along the mountainside to reach her final destination.  She is really into schooling.  She loves learning new things every single day.  She walks happily and on her way to school, she will pick some wildflowers and give it to her classmates to bring a little joy.  Life was so great.  It was simple but really amazing.

At noon, instead of going straight to their home, she would sit under her favourite tree and do her school assignments.  She usually stays there for a couple of hours and if she finishes her school responsibilities early, she will just sit there and stare at the wonders of nature until she falls asleep.  

Martha was a good mother to Leina and his father is a good man.  His father works hard for the family and Martha takes care of her little Leina.  They have a great family.  Although Martha and her husband were both young, they have shown great love for the family.

One day, the family just had their breakfast when they a loud banging at the door.  Martha took Leina and rushed towards her husband, afraid of the loud and wild knocks.  The door opened and revealed an old man.  She snatched Martha away from the family.

It was Martha's father.  She eloped five years ago to be with her husband.  Her family still cannot accept what had happened to her.  Martha is from a prominent family in the city.  She is wealthy and has everything while the husband has nothing to offer.

Martha cried to her father as she is being taken away from her family.  Finally, she was able to run on Leina and grabbed her tight.  As Martha's father took her, she grabbed Leina's hand until they were able to reach the car that will lead them to the city.  Martha's father was strict as he forcefully removed Leina's hand.

Leina was crying as she ran after the car but Martha, her mother was gone. Leina and her father were beseeched with sadness.  The once happy family turned to sadness.  Leina went through with her daily routine.

Despite all her efforts to make herself happy, it was difficult for her to forget what happened.  Soon, her father left and never to return again.  At age 9, she supported herself.  She would help in the school canteen in the afternoon to earn.  The school had given her scholarship because of her intelligence.  Time had passed, she had never seen the shadows of her parents.

Leina grew up to be smarter than other women in the rural town.  She is beautiful just like her mother as she turned fourteen.  She remembered her parents, Martha was only sixteen when she bore a child, her husband was younger than a year.  She soon became popular because of her beauty.  She has many suitors and had asked her hand for marriage but she insisted that she does not want to be like her mother.  She has high hopes and wants to finish a degree.  She promised herself that as soon as she was able, she would look for her parents and somehow rebuild the happy family she once has.

One evening, as she was outside the house, she noticed a man in the dark.  Afraid, she ran inside the house and locked all the doors.  She prayed so hard that nothing bad happens to her.  God must have answered her prayer.

Days had past and he noticed the same man who had been roaming around their house so she asked the permission of the school officials to stay there, at least for quite some nights just to deceive the man observing the house from a distance.

After a few weeks of staying at school, she went back to her house.  "Martha!", the man called her as she entered.  She recognized her father! "Papa, it's me Leina!" but her father was too deaf to hear her plea.  "Martha!", she was raped by her own father thinking it was her mother, Martha!  A neighbour passing by heard her but it was too late to rescue her from the hands of her father.

That day, her father was arrested.  Leina became pregnant and was taken care of by her neighbour. She died of childbirth.  Her daughter was adopted by a wealthy family in the city and they named her Heleina.
