Changing Seasons

Winter brings the bite of snow
With it's simple feat of letting go
It moves on, so cold and mysterious
Taking it's time while making us anxious

Spring is gentle, and mother-like
With nature's hand it brings delight
But still it knows, that when it goes
It has to say goodbye

Summer here, with a warm blue heat
Brings the sound of running feet
As children run and jump and play
It still knows it'll have to go away

Autumn breeze brings a chilly stare
As it tries to capture the base of a dare
Not every fellow will give it chances
But I know when it goes, that it dances
