chapter 1: the freak prince

Screaming....panic... bloodshed...and yet... I do not feel anger nor panic, I feel.... Pleased, a faint voice in the back of my head keeps nagging and nagging at me "this isn't right! Aiden please stop this!!" I couldn't, all I did was cackle at the sight of all these heartless bastards being torn and brutally killed by these so called 'savages' of the lands above, the voice keeps getting louder and louder and louder and louder!...... Until... It stopped, as I turned I finally found out where the voice was coming from, red filled the waters as I look upon the source of the voice..... "Mother?..."

I'd wake to the sight of my tears flouting and disappearing, I'd rub my eyes as I rise from my somewhat bed " Another strange dream...." A yawn escapes from mouth as swim towards my closet, "what to wear
Today?" I'd look through all my clothing and picked something I was familiar with "okay black top it is" I'd put the top on and swim towards my dresser, I'd grab my blade and swim out of the room.

I'd find myself at the dining table blankly staring at my food as I'd listen to my mother argue to the guards about letting my father sit with us, after a few minutes my mother had failed for the 562nd time to convince the guards my father isn't evil, now just so you know my father isn't the same type of siren like everyone else neither am i, we are known as '' the dark ones ''  or as everyone in the kingdom likes to call us '' monsters '', anyways I'd look across the dining room only to see my father on the far side of the dining table simply waving and smiling at both me and mother, since my mother was busy I had to put on a smile and wave back, which was both awkward and kind of uncomfortable.

After the breakfast disaster I'm always used to I'd swim towards the outside of the castle and into the gardens, I wasn't allowed outside of the castle nor the outside of the kingdom boarders since I am what I am and also because of pirates, I'd like to meet one some day, maybe when I'm free from this hell hole I can meet one, I'd sigh as I look up to see the sky from the land above the water "I wish I could just escape from here..." Then I had an interesting thought what if I just.... Disobey.... And create an escape for myself  I'd quickly swim up and look over the castle walls, the reef didn't look so far from here but I'd have to create something to distract mother from me... I'd quickly swim towards my room but as I get closer I was stopped by my mother of all sirens.

 "Aiden why are you in such a rush today? Are you planning on causing trouble?" She'd ask as she stares me down and a shiver runs down my spine, I'd gulp down a bit of fear and replied "n-no mother..." She'd smile pleased and swam off , I'd quickly swim into my room and grab a hood and my coin pouch, I'd make a little dummy and placed it in my bed, I'd cover the dummy as I swim off towards the window, as I open the window the sound of the door opening ment one thing... My mother is here, I'd quickly swim out the window and shut it as I look in through a crack in the coral door, my mother had a disappointed look on her face as she held an amulet in her hand and placed it down on the dresser, she kissed the dummies forehead and swam out of the room shutting the door.

I'd move away from the window as I slip my hood over my wild black locks and swam towards the castle gates only to see a crowd of sirens leaving, I'd quickly hide within the crowd remaining silent and unseen, the two sirens in front of me have been talking for quite a while but I've ignored them so far, until "have you heard the news yet?" The left one said sounding quite annoyed "yeah... That freak Prince turned 20... ugh He'll be king pretty soon" the right one said sounding as if it were a problem she could just fix but doesn't want to "yeah if that really happens I'd rather go to the dungeon for killing the bastard" the right siren cackled at the left one, anger filled my head and body as I listen to them chatting on about how they'd kill me, which is pretty stupid because guards are literally everywhere so I don't have to get my hands dirty killing these fools right? Wrong.

Even the guards laughed and gave freaking tips on how to try and kill me, one of the sirens looked over at me and wiped a tear from her eye "hey so you got any ideas on how to get the bastard?" They all were staring at me, waiting for my response like clown fish just waiting for their predictor to try and get them. "Well... How about a sneak attack?... In the dark is good" see here's what no one except my father knows, sneak attacks never work on me, even in the dark sneak attacks don't work since I can literally see in the dark.

They all stared at me as if I was stupid and one of the guards yelled out "doesn't he have a blade!" all the others looked over to him and yelled "Shut It Kyle!" the so called Kyle lowered his head in shame as he swam off to the reef or at least where I think he's going to, I swam within the crowd for a couple minutes until we were out of the guards sight. The corners of my lips curled into a devilish smirk as I cackle lowly while taking off my hood revealing my wild black locks "so...'" the sirens turned their heads as fear filled their eyes, one of the sirens reached over to their side and pulled out a makeshift coral blade, I'd take in a deep breath and screamed, the scream caused the water to twist and turn among the sirens, red filled the water as their limbs parted from their bodies. I'd cackle as the water became still and their torn bodies fell to the ocean floor.

In the distance I'd hear my mother screaming in terror as I turn to face her gaurds were near here with their weapons ready, I'd try and explain to my mother what happened but she cut me off "I'm sorry my son.... but you've become a monster" my eyes widened in heartbreak from my mothers words, rage filled my body, I was so angry I could just "WELL HOW ABOUT YOU LOOK AROUND HUH! ALL OF YOU CAUSED THIS! YOU'VE MADE ME THIS WAY MOTHER!!" her eyes widened in terror at my sudden rage as tears filled her eyes "you....are not my Aiden...monster" when she said that all of the rage inside me released into a scream, I just kept screaming and screaming, when I stopped and opened my eyes they stared blankly at my mothers torn body, my father rushed over towards me and grabbed me by the shoulders "son you have to go, NOW!" without hesitation I swam towards the borders, I'd cross them.

Aiden has been reported missing, his father killed off, his mother murdered by his hands, and he had the audacity to go above the waters of his home and go on the shores of the island.

He'd sing....
