*So here I am again, the day after to post the second chapter.
I just surprised myself, adding more the day after :)*
As I ran, the forest became very eeire, nearly all the sounds stopped and a thick fog rolled in. I slowed my run a little watching my surroundings but continued on. Then from out of no where, a form was charging at me, I was tackled and fell to the ground. I couldn't quite tell what it was, somehow my enhanced senses were dulled back. As I hit the ground, I felt a sharp pain in my side, and my head hit a rock, everything went black.
I wasn't knocked out for more than a minute, and with my quick healing genes my head was back to normal, but my side still hurt, I was confused because any normal wound would have healed by then. I slowly stood up, and I remembered what happened, I looked around but whatever attacked me had vanished along with the fog. I decided I would investigate later, and started to run again, for as I've said, I need to get back to my mom. I ran at tip speed being careful of my hurt side. Soon I cleared the last tree and was in my car, I got in and turned it on, cracked the air, and drove as fast as I could back home.
The drive took twenty minutes to get to my road, even breaking almost every law for driving. I slowed down a little and them turned into the long driveway to my house. We live out in the woods so we are free to change whenever we like. As I reached the house, Sam came running out.
"Thank God you're here, She's fading even more, we need to get it to her as fast as possible," he said. I had already gotten out of the car and shut the door, as I went to take a step I winced from the pain in my side.
"What's wrong?"
"Something attacked me while I was in the woods, and my side is wounded. But, don't worry about it right now we have to get to mom," I said as I noticed the concerned look on his face.
*Ok, so chapter 2 is now up. If you read this, feel free to comment, and don't be afraid to comment in the future. Once again thank you for giving my, as of right now story, a chance.
Oh, and I know these chapters are short, but using them as journal entries in my English class, this is where I ended them each day, and it feels right to end them there.
Peace!*
