I dreamt of you again last night
You smiled at me, all dressed in white
I took your hand, you squeezed me tight
And then I knew we'd be alright
I ache at just the thought of you
Your smile, and all the laughs we shared
The words we whispered in the dark
Now memories fuel my lonely heart
No storm too wild, no hill too high
Love, I'd sail the wide ocean blue
If you'd just see me as someone
Half as wonderful as you
You keep me warm inside for days
Your gentle voice, it has its ways
I mean it always when I say
Darling, I'll love you all the way

A/N: Starting off with something light here. I was in the car when I wrote this, thinking of four different people and how I felt about each of them.
Poetry is... something new to me. I used to write silly rhymes and verses when I was a kid, but on whole, I always saw myself as more a storyteller than a poet. Though I guess poetry is storytelling, just not the kind I'm used to. I don't imagine myself to be a great poet by any means, but writing my feelings out like this felt good, and, well... I thought I might as well share them with the world. That is all, for now.
