"Is he always that creepy?" - Hancock, the most outspoken, asked.
"Nah, he's just shy!" - Lami quickly tried changing their minds.
"It's true!" - Everyone looked at your exasperated expression and you felt yourself sinking in - "I-I mean-HUh-hmm- I-I... You'll see once you g-get to know him better!"
Everyone shrugged their shoulders and went on with talking about the game you'd play before class started, everyone except Law, who scanned you once more with his passive yet slightly intriged eyes...
"We decided to play house!" - Nami stated before grabbing on to Luffy's arm - "I'll be the mom and Luffy gets to be the dad!"
"No! Only I get to be Luffy's wife!" - Hancock began fighting Nami over Luffy, and Ace joined them because 'if anyone should Luffy it should be his own brother'.
As the fight progressed you felt a light tap on your shoulder, you saw Lami signaling to stand aside with her and you did.
"Let's team up." - She said after you followed her further away from the group.
"You... wanna be... my husband?..." - Your face grimaced over the image your mind created.
"No, you slow poke! I mean: let's team up so we can get our matches to stay away from each other's throats and play with them without the group interfering for once." - Now it made sense.
"I'm in!" - You smiled and shook hands with Lami.
"You're in for what?" - A voice startled you both.
Neither you nor Lami had felt Law approaching...
"N-Nothing!" - You yelled a bit too loudly, Lami had to pinch you to calm you down.
"S-She means we're in for the game!" - Lami pushed you against her brother and ran off to Kid - "Since you're here, you two get to be a couple, bye!"
Law caught you, almost falling along, and secured your arms as your hands held his preppy shirt.
"I-I'm so sorry! I ruined your shirt!" - You eyed his wrinckled shirt but he only shrugged his shoulders, without ever taking his hands off you.
You felt Law scanning you once more, this time you were too close, you couldn't keep eye contact with him for too long...
"Do I creep you out too?" - His serene voice was laced with worry.
"NO! I-I mean, no. No... you don't..." - Your words soothed Law's over thinking mind - "Are you... Are you smiling?..."
Amazed at what your eyes were seeing, a tinny smile formed in the lips of the robot-like-boy, you cheered, happy he'd shown you something no one else had seen before.
Law, on the other hand, didn't like the fact that he'd shown you a new side of him, he had trained himself not to show emotion to anyone but his loved ones, yet here you were, breaking his walls...
