I just came back from spending the day with Jacob, my on and off crush, we laughed a lot and gained chemistry in the air. Barely any touching happened on the date ... I was apprehensive about that, having little experience with boys and relationships.
"I enjoyed hanging out with you today, Ursula." Jacob confessed as we reached my front door.
"Me too!" I carelessly replied with a smile.
A little intimidatingly, Jacob took a step towards me, as I took a step towards the house, my back hitting the wall next to the door. "I don't think you know what I mean," he said. His cologne at this proximity was intoxicating. I just stared at him.
"What I meant was, I really enjoyed being with you today," he said, placing his hands on my waist, a noticeably new feeling for me.
I breathed in at the new touch, sensing the change in his demeanor. "What do you mean?" I questioned.
He sighed, "I mean I care about you a lot, and being around you makes me feel something I haven't felt before." I could tell he was a little bashful with his words, yet I admired how brave he was being.
"It's good to know that," I smiled big, "then we should hang out again soon." I say, wrapping my arms around his waist too, pulling us a little closer together, entwining our legs as I leaned my torso against the wall.
"How about we keep this night going?" He pulled himself closer to me; our bodies now flush together.
I momentarily pursed my lips, predicting where this conversation was going. "Oh yeah? How?" I asked playfully.
"Like this" he says and leans down towards me. I met him halfway.
a/n Hey! That was really short, I know, but please give me your thoughts on the initial writing style! ... What do you think: 1st or 2nd person's point of view? Keep Ursula for the character name or change to (Y/N)? Past or present tense? Lmk!
