"I want you to be nice." My mom said. She was gripping the handle on the steering wheel a bit too hard and her knuckles were turning white.

"Mom," I said. "I don't know what you are talking about. I will be fine. And of course nice. Who do you think I am? Brian?"

"I don't know!" She huffed. "I want you to be friends with the neighborhood kids!"

I raised my eye brow at my mom. "Really, mom? You are nervous I won't make any friends?" I saw she was relaxing a bit because he knuckles weren't so white anymore.

"I guess that's true." She pulled the can in front of a house at the end of a long street. "Well, this is it!" We go the exited the car. I grabbed my bags from the trunk and met my mom on the porch.

The door opened and there stood my aunt Liv.

"Molly!" She exclaimed wrapping my mom in a hug. "I haven't seen you in so long! You look great!"

Most of my family all agree that I am a younger version of my aunt Liv. From the way I talk, act, walk, eat, look I'm just her.

"You look fantastic if I do say so myself!" My mom explained. "And your belly! So cute! You are the cutest pregnant lady ever!"

The attention was now on me. "Becca!" Liv wrapped me in her arms and I wrapped mine around her. "Oh my goodness look at you! You're so big! How old are you?"

I smiled. "Sixteen." She released me and gasped.

"You are so old. I can't even believe it." I laughed.

"Well I better head. You be good Becca and don't give Liv and Mike too much trouble." I hugged my mom before she hugged Liv one last time. "See you in a few weeks!"

And just like that she was in her car and gone. Liv and I stood on the porch and waved to the car until it was out of sight before we went into her house.

"So this is your room for the summer." Liv took me to a very plain, white walled bedroom. "I want you to make it your own by the end of the summer." I nodded.

"I can definitely do that." I threw my bags on the blue and white bed sheets.

This summer I have to stay with my aunt Liv and her husband Mike mostly because my parents are touring all over Europe and didn't want to take me. Rude. I know. But I guess it really doesn't matter just because I LOVE my aunt Liv. And of course Mike.

"So it will just be us until Mike gets home." Liv said. "Get settled in and if you need anything I will be in the kitchen."

I nodded and started to unpack. I hung all my shirts, skirts and dresses on hangers and put them in the closet. I put all my shorts and pants on the shelves in the closet as well mostly because this room doesn't have a dresser.

The room itself is pretty small. And extremely plain. The walls are plain white. The bed spread and the curtains are the only things with even a little bit of color to them and even then it's navy blue and white striped.

It took me like two seconds to unpack and I went down stairs to help Liv with dinner.

"Need help?" I asked. She nodded.

"Yes please."

We began making a small dinner of breakfast foods, since I love breakfast. If I could only have one meal a day, I would pick breakfast because it's so good.

Liv began making th pancakes on a small grill and I began to cook scrambled eggs and bacon on the stove. It was pretty quiet as we cooked. The whole house began to smell of bacon and pancakes and I was in heaven.

We soon finished our cooking and I dished the eggs and bacon onto a plate next to the heaping pile of warm pancakes.

"So tomorrow," Liv began. "I'm going to the doctors for a checkup." She rubbed her swollen belly. "It's just to make sure everything is okay. So you can either come with or stay here. It's totally up to you." I nodded.

"I'll just stay here if that's okay." I swallowed hard. I have this extreme fear of anything that has to do with doctors. Even if I think about them my palms will start to sweat and my heart will begin beating extremely fast. I once passed out when my mom told me I had to go get a check up for school. It was the worst cause I woke up in the hospital and I freaked and ran out of there as fast as I could.

"Yup that is just fine." She began to set the table as I pulled juice out of the fridge.

When Mike got home we began dinner. It was nice, but quiet. And I don't do quiet, but I sat there like a good child and ate quietly. I know my table manners. And I couldn't help but fidget a little as we ate.

"So," Mike began speaking to Liv. I was just happy there was some noise going on. "Do you think we will go to the barbecue next week that the Allen's are throwing?" Liv thought for a moment.

"I don't see why not. It will be a good way for Becca to make some friends." Mike just laughed.

"I'm not worried about her not making friends. She could be friends with anyone. Do you remember when we lived in California? The one week she was there and we had all the neighborhood kids at our house on the first day?"

Liv and I both laughed. "That was pretty funny."

"So we are going?" We both nodded.

That night I was more than excited to go to bed.
