Zuri sat at her desk, pencil in hand. The poor girl was tired of writing out Algebra when she already knew it all, but she still wrote out a few equations for revision.
"Little miss know it all...trying to pass the time are we?" Zuri hears a deep voice from the desk behind her.
"Ugh, what do you want, Draven?" The teenager turns around in her seat to look at the boy.
"The answers." Draven smirks at the look on Zuri's face.
"Haha not today but nice try." She laughed sarcastically, the female's eyes landed back on her math equations.
"You know Zuri, this is all your fault." He chuckles with his fist under his chin.
"How so?" The pen keeps scribbling down answers.
"Well for starters, you're stunning so no wonder I can't get my grades up." He breaths a laugh. "Second of all, you are always reading about...what are they called again..? oh that's right, vampires!" He whispers in her ear, making her jump which caused the chair to make a screeching sound.
"H-how did you know that?" The girl curiously whispered to the teenage boy, not wanting the teacher to walk over.
"That's not important." He states, "And don't worry, Love. I won't bite." He laughs at Zuri's facial expression which changed almost immediately showcasing fear.
It all made sense now to Zuri...it made sense why Draven's skin was so pale, why he skipped meals when it was break time.
"Mrs. Mickey?" The blonde raises her hand.
"Yes, miss Wood?" She answers while writing up the math questions answers.
"May i get some air?" Her heartbeat getting faster and faster by the second.
"Yes, take your time." The teacher smiles continuing on with her class.
Zuri looks back at the class through the window just to see Draven is no where to be seen.
"Miss me, beautiful?" He laughs from behind at Zuri's jump of suprise. "Hey, calm down. Don't be afraid." Draven whispers with a kind look.
"Don't call me beautiful! Also get You're pearly white fangs away from me!" The 18 year old ran into a nearby empty classroom locking it.
"If you think you can get rid of me that easily, sweetheart, you have mistaken." An evil laugh flew right into the young girl's ears. "I thought you had read books about vampires? We have powers you know." He smirked sitting on top of a desk.
"What do you want from me?" A whimper pushed though Zuri's small lips. "Blood?" She questioned nervously, biting her nails while waiting for an answer.
"Not yet, anyway." The teenage vampire walked forward putting a hand around the thin waist to keep the frightened girl from running. "I'll tell you everything if you promise not to scream." He whispered hoping the teacher had not gone searching for them, for he had something much better planned than math equations.
"Aaaah!" A hand was slapped over her mouth. "Mmmmh!" Zuri muttered into Draven's cold hands.
