You, my angel, aren't just any angel. You have fallen from heaven and been through hell. Your hair black as your lost soul, while others find it paranormal and freakish. You find the color black poetic. Your halo above your head crooked like the smile you put on your face to pretend you're okay. A facade to cover up your lost soul and the scars that bury deep within you. While others smile and laugh, music fills your head from the headphones in your ears turned up as loud as they go. Trying to block out everyone and everything around you. But you don't just listen to music, you understand it. The music doesn't just fill your head it keeps you going and sometimes it's the only thing that understands you. As you walk through the halls struggling to keep going on your own, your head doesn't stay up as it should. Your head hangs low, watching where your feet go, hoping to not be noticed by anyone around you. But as shoulders push you around you realize you aren't as invisible as you'd like to be. But that still doesn't mean you feel a thing, you've become numb and cold-hearted. Your demons have consumed you and you're beginning to become them. Every time you think you're about to make it to shore another wave comes and begins to drown you. A constant struggle of trying to just keep your head above water, and when you can't you hold your breath till you feel like you can't breathe and you feel like your lungs are about to burst. But sometimes you wished the water would consume you. Maybe then it would fill the cracks in your broken heart. Followed by filling the space where your lost soul, black as night used to lay. Other times you wish someone would hear you screaming and crying out for help as you begin to drown over and over again. But no one ever looks past your eyes and sees the void where a glowing soul used to lay. They see the brightness that still lays in your eyes that you yourself don't always see, and even the others of us fallen angels can see it. But what the others don't see that us fallen angel do is the tears that magnify the brightness of your bright blue eyes. They don't pay close enough attention to the irises of your eyes, to them they're too black but to us, we see through them. But you didn't always use to be this way, none of us did. You weren't always a lost dark soul, you too used to be one of those people who'd dance with their free souls. Till one day your soul was ripped from your chest, taking your breath away causing you to submit. But this wasn't all by force you willing began to submit. You fell into the trap your demons laid before you. But this wasn't your fault. You were blind to the world that laid before you. Naive to the things yet to come. Till you fell, hard. As your knees hit the ground sharp claws grabbed the back of your head forcing your head up to the world before you. Your eyes were closed shut, tears streaming down your face, but that simply wouldn't do for them. They not only forced you to look forward they began to pry your eyes open followed by stripping you naked. Exposing you to the world before you. At this moment your wings hung low and laughter filled your ears. Hot tears burned your soft skin and you began to see the world as it really was. You began to realize that you had been through hell this whole time. Your body began to tremble from the coldness you felt as your demons stared straight into your bright blue eyes and ripped your soul out of your body. As their claws touched the bright soul it began to turn a pitch black color. But they didn't destroy it, they simply threw it and you my angel became a dark, lost soul. But they weren't finished with you yet. They began to fill your ears with pure hatred and you couldn't do anything about it. The weight of the world you now could see held you down, completely trapping you from running away and hiding from everything. You knelt there exposed to the world, no longer pure. Your naked body trembling from the darkness and cold that now consumed you and filled the void that rests within you. For the first time before the dark and coldness filled the cracks and voids that rest within you. You felt how broken you truly were. Each and every cracked and broken thing would not go unseen. Pain from years filled you and consumed you. Eating you alive but as your soul was ripped away from you and the coldness filled the empty spaces. The pain was still there, but you became numb to the point where it wasn't as bad. Then there was a sudden silence where every demon shut up. But before you knew it that was the last breath of fresh air and silence you'd take in. Your wings that lay limp were suddenly ripped from you back. Instead of the cold feeling that consumed your whole entire body. You suddenly felt a sharp claws grab onto your wings and rip them from your back. Your back arched as they were ripped and you screamed out in pain but no one listened to you, no one was there to help. It was just you. Your back dripped thick crimson and burned and suddenly you not only saw hell you felt it. The place where scars now are burned like hell. You closed your tear-filled eyes and felt all the demons that escaped you refill your body. Now they weren't just alone they played with the darkness and coldness within you. So when you opened your eyes they were no longer before you, it was just you. You fell over from all the pain and new emotions and laid in your own pool of crimson. As your vision went in and out of passing out you watched as your once white wings began to turn the color your lost soul had turned. Then suddenly a wind picked up and your once wings began to fall apart and drift away with the wind. You were about to pass out but before your eyes shut you reached out with everything left you had in you and grabbed a feather from the once beautiful wings. You held it to your chest and passed out in the pool of crimson your exposed ripped skin caused. When you'd awake from the nightmare you'd realize it wasn't all a dream but what had really happened. You looked at the feather in your hand and it was the only hope you had left. But instead of lifting it in the air and releasing it from your fingertips, you held it tighter realizing it was the only hope you had left and you wouldn't give it up till it was to someone else. But in your head, you believed that would never happen and to this day you still do. But you my fallen angel are wrong.
