Nobody's Meant to be Trusted

"I've been thrown under the bus, used, walked all over, abandoned, stabbed in the back, betrayed, etc. Basically anything that you could imagine that's bad, has happened to me. I haven't had the BEST decisions and choices in friendships & relationships and it honestly SUCKS! Ugh. I wouldn't say my life is ALL bad though. I had amazing, swell, fun times in my life. Anyways, My name is Asiyaa Mendezla, going in as a Junior in High School & this is my journey in, "Nobody's Meant To Be Trusted."

The day before the first day of school.
Tuesday, September 9th.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* my alarm goes off and I try my hardest to open my eyes and out of nowhere my older brother Santana bust in my room. "Aye, get up yo. We gotta go to Marissa house." He closes my door. Marissa is his girlfriend of 3 years and I honestly don't like Marissa, she thinks she can take my brother away from me and that is NOT the case.  I'm honestly surprised that they are still in this 3 year relationship. I say that because my brother was like the legit BIGGEST rat in V.V (Vermont Vista) Los Angeles. The fourth most dangerous, violent city in L.A. My brother is violent. Since our father past five years ago, Santana has been the man of the house since the age of 13. Santana soon began to turn to the streets since our dad past. He's a well-known Kingpin & our mother HATES it. She sees as if Santana is following in our father's footsteps & she's scared for him every time he goes out and comes home late, because ,he never answers her calls or texts. Sometimes I get scared for Tana too.  But I pray for his life everyday when he steps out that door to go do what he has to do. Anyways, as I hop out of bed, I do my daily hygienes, get dressed in a black Nike crop top, blue-ripped jeans, white Nike's, and my gold chain that my grandmother gave me before passing when I was five. I threw my hair up in a high pony, edges laid, and I headed downstairs and out the door.
On the highway going to Marissa house .
"Aye, I need you to do something for me." Santana says, but I don't hear because I'm too busy being in my phone. "AYE!" I jumped. "What dawg?!" "I said I need you to do something fa me." "Well... what is it?" "I need you to go to the trap with me after we go to Marissa house." "For what? I thought mom told you to not ever bring me over there." "Is mom here? No. It's just quick 2 minute thing In & out." "Fine." I say with an attitude.

We then finally arrive to Marissa house. She lives in Chesterfield Square. The most dangerous neighborhood to ever live in. "I'm staying in the car." I say still looking at my phone. "No you not c'mon." I look up at him, roll my eyes & get out the car. We walk up to her house and ring the doorbell. She has a screen door in front of the main door. We wait. Her sister Susu opens the door and yells for Marissa. "MARISSA, SANTANA'S HERE! Y'all can come in she'll be right down." A few minutes go by and finally Marissa comes down stairs in a white tank top and some ripped blue shorts. I rolled my eyes as she came downstairs. I haven't trusted her since day one, but my brother didn't wanna believe me, so I let him do him. "Hey Tana." I hate when she says that 'cus she stole it from me. "Why'd you stop by?" "I need you to do something for me with Asiyaa." I looked up when he said that. "Excuse me ? No me importa si ella es tu novia, no estoy haciendo ninguna cosa con ella." "No me importa que actúes bien por un par de minutos mientras ella esté aquí. Deja de actuar así." Santana says furiously at me. Marissa just looks at us because she really doesn't know Spanish like we do. "Uh, do we have a problem?" "Nah. Asiyaa don't go no problem. Right?" I didn't even say a word to him, I dashed past both of and left out the door and into the car. I sat in the back on my phone wanting to already just go home. Sometimes I cannot stand Santana & I hate when we get into that in front of Marissa because I know she thinks that I'm threatened by her and that would never be the case. 2 minutes go by and they finally step out her house. As they're walking to the car, Marissa is smiling at me like she won against me or something. All I wanted to do was jump right into the front seat and fight her right when she enters the car, but I controlled myself so I was fine.
