I walked into my bedroom after the cuddle session and I told Colby goodnight.
About 2 hours passed
I couldn't sleep. I sat by the window and stared at the moon
I began looking through photos. One caught my eye

That's my mom and I whenever I was a baby.
I stared at the picture
"Look at me mom, I'm doing it" I whispered "you sure were a beautiful woman. Oh god I'd love to have you back here." I say shedding a tear
"I love you mama, forever." I cried.
I turned off my phone and looked at the moon.
I then got under my bed and grabbed a box, I opened the letter my mom had written me before she killed herself.
'Dear savannah, Hi gorgeous, how are you? Hope you're great. Mommy loves you sweetie. This isn't your fault, it's my own. Mommy isn't happy anymore, you make her happy, be happy for mommy. Smile for mommy. When you fall in love I'll be there. When you kiss your first boy I'll be there. And when you walk down the isle, I'll be there. I love you Savannah Lynn. I heard my door creak open and I pushed the box under my bed and wiped my tears.
"Hey" Colby says softly I waved a little bit I loomed back at the moon . Mom said if I was ever sad and wanted her look at the moon.
"You okay?" He asked as he sat beside me I nodded
"Hey, What's wrong?" He asked I grabbed him and held onto his chest letting out soft sobs "I miss mom" I cried. This was the first time I've ever cried in front of Colby. He held me tightly
"Shh, baby let it all out okay?" He asked "look at Me" he says lifting my chin "it'll be okay" he says I nodded then shook my head "how?" I ask "I'm here now, forever" he says I shook my head "everyone says that. My mom, my father, my grandpa..." I began to cry "I can't let you go too" I cried in his arms again "I don't care. Um never going I'll never leave. No matter what happens with us. I'll never leave you" he says
"Promise?" I ask "promise." He says softly "you know, mom told me that when I needed someone the most. The love of my life would walk into my life." I say "Colby, you came into my life in the worse situation I've been put in... well almost" I say he smiled "that's because I love you" he says "I love you too" I say
"What do you say we cuddle and go to sleep?" Colby asked lifting my chin gently so I looked at him I nodded
We crawled into my bed, my head on his chest, his arms wrapped around me "goodnight gorgeous" he spoke softly "goodnight Colbs" I say softly back... soon enough I fell asleep in his arms
