so something bad happend and he (i was thinking luke but eh) need to drink everyday to get by. he's also irritating-ly happy all the time and yeah?
and the girl works at her father's alcohol store or something and begins to notice that whenever Luke goes to the stores he's all sad and shit, but when he's at school he's all happy. sometimes he comes into the store crying or angry, or a huge mess of emotions. so basically she's the only one who can see through the facade n all that.
