Ch. 4: Trouble

Hey everyone! This story is getting great support, and I am glad for all of it!  Here's the story! Enjoy!

"So, why is it you called us all here?"

Blanc asked, as Ram and Rom nodded, asking the same question with the simple gesture.
Vert was there as well, along with Uni and Noire.

"Well, there's no real simple way to say this, but-MMM!"
Neptune interrupts you with a kiss.
"(y/n) and I are dating!"

"EEEEEEHHH?" The startled shout came from Vert and Blanc's mouth, while the twins screamed out with joy.

"Hold on" Blanc began to ponder aloud
"How are we going to keep this secret from the Gameindustri council? We all know they have eyes and ears almost everywhere"

All of a sudden, there was a knock at the door. The sudden unexpected sound silenced everyone.
"I'll get it" you say as you stand and open the door to reveal two Gameindustri police officers, who show you a warrant for your arrest.
"(f/n)(l/n), you are under arrest for romancing a goddess of whom you were meant to guard and only guard"
You sigh, knowing that if you resist things will only get worse for both you and Neptune. Despite your cooperation, the cops grab you roughly and lead you out to their vehicle.

"(F/N)!!!" you hear Neptune's shrill scream as you are shoved into a police car.

"Neptune! I love you!" you manage to shout just before the door slams in your face. You see Neptune's face streaked with tears, and she is shouting words you can't hear, but see.

I love you

You feel tears start to fall down your cheeks as you start crying the same phrase again and again

I love you too, Neptune

After arriving at the station and being put in you cold concrete cell, with the stereotypical barred window, you decide to lie down and try to get some sleep. It is no use. You start crying again, thinking of Neptune's beautiful face, and how had she had looked as she watched you be taken away from her by the very people she swore to protect.
You spent the rest if the evening crying yourself to sleep.

"-/n), (f/n) wake up!"

You groaned and looked up at the window, and was shocked to find Neptune.

"Neptune? What are you doing? You can't be here!"

"I don't care. I love you, and that's all the matters. We are going to get you out of here!"

"We?" you inquired.
Suddenly, shadowy figures appeared behind your purple haired goddess.
"NEPTUNE LOOK-" you stopped midsentence as the figures came into the light, revealing Noire, Blanc, Vert, and the rest of your CPU and CPU candidate friends.
"Girls. . ." you began as tears once again filled your eyes.
"(f/n), we are here for you, always! You are part of the family! We all love you, though some more than others" Noire looked at Neptune.
"Girls, I don't know what to say, except I'm sorry" your response sets a confused look across the faces of all the girls.
"W-what? Why?" Neptune gave a forced smile.
"I don't want you guys getting in trouble. Ram, Rom, don't have too much fun without me. Blanc, I may be a little late returning that book. Vert, looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer to play that MMO. Uni, look after Noire. Noire, remember what's important. Nepgear, please, keep being my sister. Neptune. . ."
You walked over to the barred window and kiss her.
"I love you. Goodnight"
You smile and head off to your for to rest for the night as the girls headed home.
