A sharp shooting pain hit her head, whilst she was seeing that nightmare yet again. Her eyes struggled to open and her whole body started to ache. With utmost difficulty she tried to open her eyes and her one hand applying pressure to her forehead to somehow subside the pain and the other clutched the bedsheet.

She heard some hustle and some noise around her but couldn't comprehend what was going on. She opened her eyes fully and saw a blurry vision of two women sitting beside her and some people standing and gawking at her.

She rubbed her eyes to see a clear picture of what was happening and where she actually was. She saw an old lady and a middle aged lady sitting and smiling at her. She found herself lying on the king sized bed and looked around the room confusingly.

She then saw Lavanya, Aakash and Arnav standing there looking at her. Two of them with worry and one with a lot of questions in his eyes. She averted her eyes from him and slowly the happenings of the night came back to her and then she knew what would have happened.

"Bitiya, how are you feeling now?" Nani asked her with a warm smile on her face.

"I.. I am fine ma'am, thank you." She said with a faint smile.

"Here, have this juice and then take your medicines." Ratna handed her the juice and carassed her hair lovingly.

"No ma'am I am fine, please don't bother yourself because of me." Khushi said.

"Listen to me bitiya, dont hesitate and drink it. You look so pale and weak and stop calling us ma'am. Call me Nani okay." Nani scolded her.

She smiled and drank the juice. Later Ratna gave her the medicine and told her that she wont leave the mansion unless she is totally fine. She could do nothing but nod with a smile. With that they both went out of the room giving some privacy to the friends.

Lavanya came near her and sat besides her. She held her shoulder and asked "Khushi are you fine now? What happened to you? Is everything okay with you?"

"Yes Lavanya, I am fine and thank you for helping me." Khushi thanked her with a warm smile and Lavanya reciprocated too.

"But Khushi what were you doing there? I mean that area and the road were so isolated and at this time its not safe to be alone there." Aakash asked with concern.

"I know I was just out for a walk and I didn't know when I went so far." She came up with the most lame excuse.

Arnav was fuming in anger hearing all those lies. He wasn't a fool to accept every bullshit she feeded them.

"Shut up dammit, stop lying for God sake." He said angrily.

"I.. I am not lying." She stirred because of his anger.

"Yeah sure. You aren't lying? Your house is 15 kms away from that place, you were walking aimlessly on that isolated highway and so weak that you fainted and you want us believe all your bullshit? We are not fools here Khushi." He shouted venting out all his frustration which was bubbling up since she started lying.

"Excuse me Mr. Raizada? Lower the tone of your voice first of all and second I can go wherever I want its my call dammit and you are no one to ask me about everything so just shut up." She shouted in a louder tone.

Well obviously, the one who lies raises their voice by ten folds.

And suddenly she experienced a sharp shooting pain in her head and "Ahh" she winced in pain.
