chapter 16

*2 weeks later*

I was staring at my phone, which were in my sweaty hands.

"they should be calling any time now" i told liam.

"just give them some time" he told me.

"i cant wait" i stood up.

i started walking back and fourth, "calm down everything will be ok" liam said.

I sat down and it felt like forever, and then i finally got a call. "bring bring brin" my phone rang, "oh my god liam, its the hospital" i shouted. "answer it!" he said

"im nervous!" i said

"hurry before they end the call!"

"hello" i answered.

"hello, this is the hospital we have some news."

Liam was close to my ear so he could hear.

"what is it!" i took a deep breath in.

"its about your father."

"okay"

"he's doing very well, he just woke up."

"YEAH" liam and i both jumped up and started to yell!

"oh my god thankyou so much ill be over in a bit!" and i hung up.

"LIAM" i freaked out!

"HES AWAKEEEEEEE" i screamed.

"i know come here!" he smiled.

I ran into his arms and hugged him

"im so happy oh my god!" i started crying happy tears.

"im happy for you! i can finally meet your dad" he winked.

"you already did silly!" i smiled.

he laughed "properly" he winked.

"fine, will you be joining me at the hospital?" i asked.

"obviously!" he got his keys and we ran to his car.

We were driving, speeding actually we were both so exited. We got to the hospital and ran inside, we both new where the room was and the desk manager new us so we just ran to the room. When we got to the door, we both stopped.

"you ready?" he asked.

"ive been ready for months." and i grabbed his hand.

I took a deep breath in, and opened to door. My dad was sitting up, he looked different not much but his skin was very pale. We walked in to the doctor telling him how the accident happened.

"you were in an accident because of a garbage truck, there was things flyring out and people slamming theyre breaks." the doctor said

My dad was an understanding type of guy so he pretty much got it.

I slowly walked in the door with liam, he  turned around and got up slowly. 

"dad" i cried.

He ran up to me

"im so sorry for everything, i didnt know this was gonna happen!" he hugged me.

"dad, its not your fault." i smiled.

"it really is, but whos thing young man" i looked at Liam.

"oh dad, this is my bestfriend Liam!"

"Liam, this is my dad, dad this is liam!"

"hello" liam smiled.

"so liam, are you sure you two are just friends?"  My dad asked.
