We walked down shaftsbury avenue before getting to a seclueded alley way in which we could all get changed. Hermione plunged her whole arm into the tiny bag.
"wh- how?" Ron stuttered
"Un detectable extension charm" Hermione said pulling out clothes for each of us and handing them out.
After we'd got changed into some more comfortable clothes we made our way to a small café and sat around one of the tables.
"Maybe we should go back, we can't just leave them?" Harry said
"They're after you mate, if we go back, you're dead and so is everyone else" Ron replied
"He's right" Hermione said
Just then the waitress coughed slightly to get our attention "Coffee?" she asked
"Cappuccino please" Hermione replied quietly
"what she said" Ron said
"yeah me too" I added even though niether me nor Ron had absoloutely any idea what a cappuccino was
"Same for me" Harry replied and the waitress turned on her heel and walked back into the kitchen.
"Everyone at the wedding will have gone underground, into hiding" Hermione added " we just need somewhere safe to go"
"What do you suggest.... the leaky cauldron?" Ron asked
"None of the usual places will be safe anymore, not if voldemort really has taken over the ministry"I said
" OH NO!" Harry exclaimed "My rucksack with all my things! I left it at the Burrow!"
I looked up to Hermione who was slowly shaking her head. Harry looked down to her bag "Are you actually joking?" Harry asked quietly as two men in overalls walked in.
"She's had everything packed for days Harry" I replied
"Just in case...." Hermione trailed off
"Right, so what are we going to do then?" Ron asked "We could stay with you, Remus and Tonks couldn't we Fauna?"
I sighed, knowing I'd have to tell them Tonks' news instead of her. "I'd love to say yes, but I can't put them in danger..." I paused "not after the recent news..."
"Recent news what do you mean?" Hermione asked
"Tonks is pregnant. That's what she was going to tell everyone at Harry's yesterday" I said "I can't put her at further risk when she's got the baby, I should be protecting her"
"Last time I remembered, you're the one without a mother, aren't they supposed to be protecting you?" Ron asked
"Ron!" Hermione hissed
"It's fine Hermione.
Yes Ron, quite possibly, but I'm strong, stronger than she is perhaps but the main difference is that I am incredibly skilled I'm defence, I had to be, given my family... I will always think of it as my job to protect those who need protecting... And in any case, they're like surrogate parents to me, are you telling me you wouldn't strive to protect your mother if she were pregnant?" I asked
"Well, when you put it like that..." He trailed off
"So what are we going to do then?" Hermione asked again as two men, wearing muggle builders overalls walked through the door.
Hermione and Ron continued talking as Harry and I, eyed the two men suspiciously, all sound draining out.
Slowly they reached into their pockets and discreetly pulled out their wands
"DOWN" Harry shouted and we all ducked beneath the tables, flipping them so that we could use them as shields.
"Stupify!" Harry shouted as I pulled Hermione down next to me
Spells flew around the room violently from both us and the two men who we now knew we're death eaters.
When we'd finally won we came out from behind the tables to see the waitress walk out of the kitchen and look down at the two, heavily injured men before her.
"Go!" Hermione shouted "Now!"
The women scuttled off
"Lock the door and get the lights" Harry said
Ron took out his diluminator, a contraption left to him in Dumbledore's will, and took away the light from the room as Hermione and I worked on locking up the entire building.
Once all had been done we walked towards the 2 death eaters.
"This ones Raoule" Harry said "he was on the astronomy tower the night Dumbledore was killed"
"And that's Dolahoff" Ron said
"Yeah, I recognise him from the wanted posters" I said
"So what we going to do with you" Ron said.
"Wipe their memories, they'll know we were here otherwise" Harry said
"Go on hHermione you're the best with spells" I said
Hermione walked up to them slowly, raised her wand and uttered the spell "obliviate"
