David and I got off the plane when it was already dark. We figured that until it was light out the two of us would just go back to our hotel room. Now the two of us were just laying in bed staring up at the ceiling.

"I love you." I said slowly, it felt weird but good to say that out-loud.

"Do you mean that?" David asked. I turned so that I could look at him.

"Of course I mean it David." I said.

"Great." He said with a grin turning my way too. "I mean it too." He said I couldn't help but smile. David rolled over and sat up. His bare back was facing me and I couldn't help but stare. "It's just so funny how we admitted feelings after we got married." He said, he was right I had been thinking about that a lot. "I wish I had admitted them before." He said, I wish he had too.

"How long did you have them?" I asked I sat up too holding the white sheets to my chest.

"Longer than I want to admit to you." He said softly. He turned his head to look at me from over his shoulder.

"Well I've had them since way before you proposed." David smiled.

"And I am going to express mine for the first time on this week away." He said I nodded coming closer to him. Hearing David say that made me happy. The thought of him being close to me and loving for the whole week was wonderful.

"Really because I thought you expressed them up against your Tesla in the McDonald's parking lot?" I teased. David grinned shaking his head.

"I have only barley scratched the surface." I leaned in closer putting my head on David's shoulder. I felt his arm come up around me.

"That reminds me, your vows were great."  I said as I stared out at the walls in front of us. "Actually they weren't great they were perfect." I looked up at david just in time to catch him smiling.

"I'm glad you liked them." I reached my hand up to hold David's. "I wrote them for you." He jokes smiling. I kissed his cheek lightly.

"Why didn't we tell our friends that we spent the night together on the wedding night?" I asked, David grinned.

"You and I have too much pride." He was right we both did. "Well, I know I lied many times to Jason saying I didn't like you."

"Well I don't think Kalee would be very surprised when I tell her." I said smiling. "Will we tell them?" I asked he shrugged and turned his head towards me, he kissed me deeply bringing his hand up to my chin.

"I think it's fun running around secretly for now."

"Agreed."

"Well then it's agreed, we can keep our pride a little longer." I nodded smiling.

Time skip

David insisted that during our honey moon instead of hiding away in our hotel room we go outside and make the best of our vacation. Now I found myself in the middle of the blue ocean with David standing on paddle boards struggling not to fall.

"You know this would have been a great place to propose." He said grinning as paddled. I smiled nodding. I would have been perfect, he was right.

"Too bad we are already married." I said smiling he shrugged as he paddles closer to me. Once he was close enough to reach he put his hand out. I took it and David grinned a devilish smile. I already knew what he was doing before it began. David pushes me lightly, but that was all it took for me to fall.
