Chapter 10: Part 1: The fight for Dice

3rd Person POV

As the townspeople from Isle 1,2, and 3 gathered on Isle 1 they all stood together in a circle discussing plans for something terrible King Dices fate

"We should tie him up and torture him!" yelled Hilda "No! We should sting him with a thousand bees!" said Honey Bottom "Nah! We should make him walk the plank!" growled BrineyBread "or..." They all suddenly heard a deep voice around them and the knew very well who it was "show yourself devil!" yelled Cala

The devil walked out behind a tree and then they stared at him "now listen here, I know what you all saw was heartbreaking for Luna right?" They all looked at each other and nodded "and we all know this was Dice's fault right?" They nodded "then I say we kill him!" roared the devil throwing his hand in the air and everyone joined him "Let's kill the beast!!!"

Everyone cheered and followed the devil into town and they all started to grab torches and weapons...

"We're not safe until he's dead
He'll come stalking us at night
Set to sacrifice our children to his monstrous entertainment
He'll wreak havoc on our towns if we let him wander free~"

"So it's time to take some action, boys
It's time to follow me!"

"Through the mist, through the woods
Through the darkness and the shadows
It's a nightmare, but it's one exciting ride
Say a prayer, then we're there
At the drawbridge of a castle
And there's something truly terrible inside
It's a beast he's got fangs, razor-sharp ones
Massive paws, killer claws for the feast
Hear him roar, see him foam
But we're not coming home 'til he's dead!
Good and dead!"

"Kill the Beast!"

"Light your torch, mount your horse
Screw your courage to the sticking place"

"We're counting on the Devil to lead the way!"

"Call it war, call it threat
You can bet they all will follow
For in times like this, they'll do just as I say!"

As the townspeople make their way to the casino Elder looked upon the people and sighed and then sang...

"There's a beast running wild, there's no question
But I fear the wrong monster's released..."

"Sally forth! tally ho!
Grab your sword, grab your bow
Praise the Lord and here we go!"

"We don't like what we don't understand in fact it scares us
And this monster is mysterious at least
Bring your guns to bring your knives
Save your children and your wives
We'll save our towns and our lives
We'll kill the Beast!"

As the workers in the casino were cleaning up they heard the singing and they saw the angry crowd and they knew why they were here...to kill Dice, for Dice ordered them to protect the doors

"Hearts ablaze, banners high
We go marching into battle
Unafraid although the danger's just increased"

"Raise the flag, sing the song
Here we come, we're fifty strong
And fifty Frenchmen can't be wrong
Let's kill the Beast!"

"Kill the Beast, kill the Beast!"

Lunas POV
Me, Cuphead, and Mugman saw the large crowd outside from the window and I got nervous and scared "They're gonna kill him?!" I back away from the window and started to panic "Luna calm down.." Mugman grabs my arm and pulls me gently towards the couch and I sat down

I sighed and covered my face with my hands "This is all my fault!" I felt tears forming in my eyes "No no Luna it's not your fault, you didn't know" I shook my head "no! It's my fault that he's dying, it's my fault they're going after him!" Suddenly the door opens and Elder Kettle walks in "Luna listen to me" he takes my hands and looks me in my sad, scared, eyes

"You are not responsible for Dice's death, you not responsible for the people going after him, and you are not responsible for your parent's death for it was all the devil's work" I look at him "but you are responsible for two things though.." I got confused "you are responsible for your love for each other and you are responsible for saving him"

I then realized what he was trying to say and he was right none of this was my fault nor my work, it was all the devil's work so then I stood up and gripped my hands into fists "I'm going to save him!" I went to the closet and grabbed the secret weapon that I had Elder Kettle get me for a Christmas...a scythe!

Then I changed into a black tank top, black shorts, and black and white boots and then I walked towards the door but stopped and I turned to the boys "I'm not doing this alone though" they both smiled and Elder Kettle nodded "go...save him" I nodded and we ran our way towards the Casino to save Dice...
