You were walking down the street, in the bad part of town no less. You would have taken your car home, but it had been stolen last week. So, you took the bus home after work. Which proved to be a bad idea since today was a very long day, and you had taken a nap— thus, missing your stop.

You pulled your jacket closer to your body, trying to gather warmth to ease your shivering body. Winter was ending, but the air was very nippy tonight. The thought of criminals wandering about didn't help either.

Too late.

"Hey, look at this!"

Before you could turn your head to the voice, a hand covered your mouth and pulled you into the alleyway. Your voice screamed out, only to be muffled by the assailant. One man held you back while another waved a knife in front of you.

"You're pretty." The armed man mumbled, bringing his pocket knife to your chest.

"Hey, hey, only a robbery!" The male holding you hissed, tightening his grip on your hands and mouth. The other glared, but put the knife up to your neck instead while his other hand dug in your pockets.

"The fuck? You don't got anything on you?" He snarled, tossing out a bus pass and a gum wrapper. Tears welled up in your eyes as you whimpered. They may kill you now for being damn broke.

"COWABUNGAAAAAAAA-"

"Mikey! It's not a sneak attack if ya scream like that!"

"Oh... Sorry, bro. Ahah."

Yours and the muggers eyes snapped up to the voices at the rooftops. Were they supposed to help you out? They kinda sound like a couple of goofs..

Your 'saviours' hopped down from the height of the building, somehow landing without any damage. You couldn't see them because of the darkness, but you felt the men holding you down suddenly being pulled away. They screamed and attempted to fight their attackers, but you had an inkling on who's ass was getting beat.

You attempted to slip away, as you were unsure if the new guys were friendly.

"Hey! Where the hell are you going?" A deep voice with a Boston accent spoke out. His hand grabbed yours and pulled you to the group.
"Not even a thank you?"
"Raph, let it go."
"I- no, it's fine. Thanks.. I just wasn't sure who's side you were on.." You spoke timidly. Now that you were up close, you could identify a few features from your saviours. For one, they were extremely tall. Taller than the average man for sure. The one who grabbed you had extremely smooth skin, not like anyone else you've felt. And they smelled like... the sewer and pizza?

"Are you hurt, dudette?" The bubbly male spoke. You were about to say no, but you were suddenly feeling a stinging sensation against your arm.
"Maybe around my arm?"
"Let's take a closer look." Another person took your hand and lead you to the streetlight. Now you had a clearer look at the boys who saved you. They were giant turtles!

"Where does it hurt?" A turtle with a purple mask over his eyes lifted your arm up to take a closer look, finding a gash one of the muggers made. You'd be lying if you said you weren't scared again.

"It-It.. You guys.."
"Are mutant ninja turtles? Yeah, we noticed." That same Boston accented turtle spoke, with a snappy attitude. Though you hardly noticed as you were still trying to take this all in.
"Maybe she hit her head too?"
"Let's take her back to the lair. It's way too dangerous this late an night, and she shouldn't be walking to the hospital. Donnie, you can help her with all the injuries she's got."

When all five of you got to the lair, you were still a little fuzzy of the situation you were in. You were unresponsive until the turtle in purple helped you to makeshift lab, with the Boston accented turtle following.

"Okay, let's get that arm patched up."
You rolled up your sleeve while the turtle began cleaning it off, making you wince.

"You gonna tell?"

Your (e/c) eyes looked at the largest turtle of the four, who simply glared at you.
"Tell who? About what?"
"About us. Where we live."
"Raph, leave her alone."
"I won't tell."

The turtles looked at you almost quizzically. But you were sincere. How could you even say a word? It would be hard to explain how mutant turtles saved you from two bad guys.
"There, you see, Raph? Nothing to worry about."
"... Yeah."
When he got an answer, he left. Though it was an answer he couldn't trust too much.

"Oh, I'm Donatello, and that was Raphael. He's a little hot headed sometimes, but he means well."
"I'm (y/n), nice to meet you."
The turtle clad in purple smiled shyly, focusing on bandaging your arm. The boys here must not get a lot of company, being mutants in the sewer and all.

"Dudette? You good?" The goofy turtle with the orange bandana came in the lab, holding something behind his back.
"What is it, Mikey?"
"Just checking on the lady. I can be helpful too, you know!"
You smiled at the younger male, who returned it with a silly grin. He brought his hands to the front and presented you with a slice of pizza.
"I know we just met, like ten minutes ago, but will you accept this pizza?"
"That is lame, Mikey.." Donatello mumbled, to which Mikey stuck his tongue out to him. You reached out and took the pizza with your good arm, giggling.
"I accept, thank you."
Michelangelo blushed and sheepishly smiled to himself. This was really cute, and so far you were trusting of the turtles. You ate the pizza while your arm was being tended to. Maybe you could visit here again. And there was still a turtle you haven't met yet..

"That was Michelangelo who just gave you the pizza. I'm sure Leonardo is our meditating or training, so you'll see him later if you'd like. But you should rest up, it's late and not very safe out." Donatello said, finishing up on your arm. You rubbed it gently and nodded.
"You can sleep on the couch in the living room. I'll just go kick the guys out."

You watched him leave, soon getting up yourself too. You caught one bad whiff of the sewer and grimaced.

You'll just take a shower when you get home.

So, there's the introduction to the turtles! I'll leave Leonardo for a later part.
