A bright light blinded Orion as he opened his eyes, looking around dazed and confused. Orion knew better than to even assume that he was dead. You can't kill a god after all. But that doesn't help his confusion.
Where was he? How did he get here? Where's his husband and his child?
Orion sat up slowly, wincing at the pain in his head. It almost felt like a hangover. But Orion doesn't drink, never had. Orion took a moment to register his thoughts but was interrupted by his body doubling over and before he knew it- his Bodily fluids were on the ground.
"G-Gnk.." Orion trembled as he looked at the vomit.
It was light blue in color...
What the hell does that mean?!
Then it struck him. Orion's eyes widened once the realization hit him like a truck-
He was sedated...
Taken away from his family by insane scientists that managed to find him...
His family... Kai... Mei...
Orion's body felt like lead once he remembered everything that happened.
He was at dinner with kai...
No
They were celebrating their 3rd anniversary...
No...
Mei was babbling nonsense since she was still learning how to talk..then-
Orion's knees caved in on him and he collapsed to the floor.
Then they showed up.. clad in all white from head to toe...
Oh god no...
They shot Kai once he tried to protect their baby girl... Then-
Orion's body racked with sobs by now, feeling grief spill into him like a waterfall.
Then they shot his poor baby girl... And Orion couldn't do a damn thing since he was sedated before he could react.. He was out cold as the blood of his loved ones pooled around his body...
NO!
Orion felt rationality go nonexistent within him.
Stumbling out of the white room, Orion found himself within a long corridor. Choosing a random direction Orion set off- trembling, sobbing, nauseous and heartbroken. Only one thought came to mind.
Get out
But Orion couldn't go far. Collapsing after 100ft. His painful sobs echoing throughout the empty hallways.
Orion doesn't know how long he stayed like that for, nor does he care anymore.
He has utterly succumbed into a large pit of despair.
Only when he heard footsteps did he pause his thoughts.
Footsteps approaching him.
"Hey! What the hell are you doing out of the room?!" The scientist screeched. "I have to do all the damn work around here!" Cursing, the scientist stormed over to Orions form on the ground, pulling out a syringe and giving it a flick.
Orion's body moved on its own at that moment.
Before the scientist could blink, Orion was on his feet and standing before him- A look of pure rage decorating his once handsome features.
These people took everything from him... Everything...
"YOU CAUSED THIS!! " Orion screamed as his hand wrapped around the scientist's throat. "MY FAMILY IS GONE BECAUSE OF YOU-!! "
This is the only part of Orion left. The part he despised. The wrath of a god. Orion wasn't in control. Hell-'Orion' doesn't exist anymore. That part of him died along with his family.
With a yell filled with anguish, he crushed the scientist's throat so hard that blood dripped out of his now lifeless eyes.
But Orion wasn't done.
Oh no he wasn't... He was still murderous...
Orion grabbed the man's limp arm and lifted him up like he was a rag-doll, and threw him against the wall until the blood of the man painted it like a canvas.
Once Orion dropped the mangled body, he himself dropped to the ground, trembling violently as a dry roar of laughter rumbled out of his throat.
He was losing his mind.
Going absolutely insane and Orion couldn't care less.
Orion's laughter was interrupted by his own sobs.
He lay there, covered in blood that's not his own.
Once Orion has shed all his tears, memories started to flood into his mind.
Memories of his husband and child...
How happy they used to be...
He remembered Meis's first steps. Proposing to kai. Finding out he was going to be a father. All the beautiful dates he took his husband on. Kai's rare smile. Meis joyful laughter.
Orion will never get to see these things again..
Orion's chest heaved with sobs once more.
Screaming. Howls... Of pain was all that could be heard. That was until the distant sound of heavy footfalls grew closer. Distant voices that yelled orders at one another could barely be heard over Orions pain-filled sobs.
He didn't even react once a team of scientists with guns rushed towards him.
"You damn animal!!" One yelled out at him. "How could you kill someone?! Where's your humanity?!?! " another one chimed in.
'Humanity..? They're one to talk..' Orion thought weakly as multiple red dots flickered onto his body.
Then a scientist spoke up.
"READY! "
The guns were cocked
"AIM! "
They aimed their weapons
"FIRE!"
Then everything went dark.
